good bowfishing case for shorter oneidas
After returning two soft cases I found this one for just a little more and it has worked out really well. This plano49 is large enough tip to tip for my 44" oneida bow and is plenty deep to accommodate a spinning reel. The rod I use on the bow manages to fit perfectly around the handle area. I filed out a pass hole next to the handle for the stick out. The bow seats nicely and rod sticks out of the case about 1/2". All in all it works well for throwing in the back of the truck and into the boat and offers more protection than any soft case. The case does have some issues for a really secure case. As stated by others there is a little gapping at the handle area when closed. The plastic is just not stiff enough to prevent that without an additional latch at the handle. Also, the single piece of padding is very thin. I added about a 1 ft square egg crate foam as a top pad and used some of the common 1/2" foam "puzzle mat" rolled and zip-tied to fit around the pillars. This forms a very solid seat for my oneida - the pillars go between the riser and cables with little play. I did not bother with the inserts for holding arrows. This case will NOT fit the longer Oneida Aeroforce, med draw. That is a 47+" string. I can be forced in but will rub tips and will not sit flush at the back of the case.

Case size
This case fits my 44" bow with ease and has some room left over. I like the rubber arrow holder and it holds up to 12 arrows. Very good case.

Came missing one of the closure clips
It came missing one of the four closure clips. No egg foam, more of a thinner flat foam.

Good case
Very nice. Not an exact fit but a custom case will cost a lot more money. This works just fine.

Missing Parts.
Case arrived missing the arrow holders and velcro straps. Disappointing as I already have one and was expecting it to show up as advertised.
