Your feline friends won't be able to resist these fun RATTLING feather tail furry mice! They will provide hours of fun and exercise and are a healthy outlet for your cat's natural hunting instinct. The mice come sealed in plastic from the factory, each with colorful feathers for a tail, felt nose, ears, eyes and measures approximately 4 to 4.5 inches long from tail tip to nose tip. Don't forget that these mice Rattle, unlike many of the other mice found on .Cats just LOVE fur, feathers and sound while they play. I have been buying mice at the pet store for years and years. What I like about them is that they are cute, cheap and the cats love them. Our cats really go wild with them and lose them all the time. They turn up under the stove, refrigerator, couch, tables, chairs, book case, washer, dryer, behind closet doors.... With such a loss rate I buy a lot. Now you can crawl on your hands and knees while trying to fish these little mice out from under all your household items too! And for a great price per mouse!

False Advertising. What you see in the pictures is not what you get.
Honestly, I am disappointed in this product. I have been searching for over a year to find a toy like this, as it is my cat's favorite toy and she tends to lose toys easily. However, WHAT YOU RECEIVE IS NOT THE SAME AS THE PICTURE. The mice pictured have long, fluffy fur and are fairly big. However, these mice are small and the fur is not fluffy nor does it feel real. My cat does not like these as much as her other toy, which is a shame. I guess my search will have to continue. However, I DO NOT APPRECIATE THE FALSE ADVERTISING. I am attaching a side by side picture with my cat's toy. The one on the left (the fluffy brown and gray one) is her toy that is almost two years old, so she has torn a lot of fur and feathers off of it. On the right (the white and gray one) is what I received in the mail. They are not similar at all and what I received does not match the picture or description. As you can see in the pictures, the toys are clearly different.

Bought these as a gift for my sister-in-law and niece's Siamese kittens
They reported that the cats go crazy over these toys and carry them around the house, which they've never seen them do before. Experience with my own felines is that they are much more excited about REAL fur (I'm pretty sure it's rabbit) than cloth toys. And you must keep a yardstick handy to retrieve them from underneath the furniture. Best to buy them in bulk because they don't last forever, but I've seen cats play with just the fur part when the "stuffing" has gone by the wayside (the tail usually gets eaten almost immediately). They really provide hours of fun....besides batting them in the air and catching them, cats love to groom the fur on these things and yes, it's pretty funny to hear them growling, especially when they think one of their cat "siblings" looks as though they may have ideas about stealing it. In summary, very entertaining for the owner as well as the cat!

Good replacement for mouse.
My cat loves these guys. They don't last for a very long time so thats why I gave it a 4. The cat has an affinity to this toy. I hide it in a bag of crumbled paper and he finds it and brings it to me as a prize , much like a real mouse. I'm kinda upset he doesn't get the real mice.Anyway, after a while you can see the plastic underneath the feathers. The feathers disappear. Eventually I throw it out and get a new one out of the bag. Not sure where the lost feather end up. But its all good and we keep up the same game.

Item received not as pictured
I ordered these are few years ago and they are the only toys my senior cat will play with. I needed more and received an order from CoolCyberCats. These mice perfectly meet the description of rattling mice with feathers. Although several of the ones I received didn't rattle. More importantly they are not the same mice I got a few years ago or the mice in the photos. The mice pictured are fluffy with long fur. The mice I received are normal toy mice with very little fur. My elderly cat is not interested in these. I guess I will have to keep looking.

My cat loves to lick the fur and feathers
I am always desperate to find kitty entertainment. My kitty enjoys biting the toy and licking the fur and feathers. She will catch it in her paws when I throw it to her. Then she shakes it a few times and settles in for a few minutes of licking. Since I have several mice out at a time, I throw her another one when she loses interest. Then I pick up the other mouse and throw it again when she finishes with the second mouse. She will play the game longer than I want to.

Pretty much the best mousie for murdering
Rabbit fur, feather tails, rattle. The only problem with it is that my 5 month old kitten likes it so much and like to drop it right in my lap for convenient murder. This results in my blood being spilled. But he's very happy with this purchase.

Great mice toys!
My kittens love these toys. The other reviews are accurate in that they do not last long. My kittens have removed the fur from the mice revealing a blue plastic body that uses little pieces of gravel as the rattle. Because I afraid they'll eat the stones, I don't leave the mice unattended and toss them out once they start to wear out. The kitties can't get enough of these mice and enjoy them so much.

and I just don't feel comfortable giving these to my cat
These are MUCH smaller than pictured. They are over an inch and a half smaller. This is a choking hazard for larger cats. Of my package, only ONE rattles. The rattles on the rest are broken. Some of them have little dirt specs on them, and I just don't feel comfortable giving these to my cat, or any cat for that matter. They are listed as being sold as a pack of 12. I only received 10. Do not purchase these mice.
