30" Velcro Installation Strip is used in conjunction with the VentGuard Vent Filtration Kit or DustChek Pre-Cut Vent Filters to install the filter media over incoming air supply vents (registers) in your home. The purpose of either of these vent filters is to capture dust, allergens, and other airborne particles circulating through a central system's ductwork before these particles can enter a room through the vent register. Easy to install, one side of the Velcro strip is affixed to the VentGuard "cut-to-fit" filter or the DustChek 7x11" pre-cut filter. The other side of the Velcro strip is affixed to the perimeter of the front panel of your vent grille (see Instructions tab for details). The Velcro Installation Strip adheres to most surfaces, including fabric, metal and plastic. Package contains one (1) 30" Velcro Installation Strip.

over charged - disappointed
I hate that I ordered the strip because I found it at nationalallergy.com for $1.99. I wish I had seen it before I cut the strip in small pieces. This is the first time that I have felt the Amazon over charged for an item. The have the price difference to be so great is a real disappointment.
