Just received these today so I can’t comment on their durability, however, one arrived already broken. From the pictures listed I feel like look a little different also. There’s just a piece of plastic glued to the white base and some of them you can see big bubbles through, like from the glue. On the plus side the clips feel very strong and I don’t think I’ll have a problem with them coming off. Will try and update anything significant after i use them at work.

Two of these have already broken and I hardly use them by retracting them. I got exactly what I paid for which was horrible quality BUT they LOOKED good. I won't buy again. At least I still have 3 more that can break on me in the next couple months. Don't waste your money on these. For the money, just buy a REALLY good one and be done with it.

These badge clips are very nice. I am removing one star to alert prospective customers, because the photo of the design in the description is very close, but not identical to the product you get. I would guess that the decorative covers are made from sheets of varying designs, with the circles cut out, one from each design.Where the design falls on the sheet determines the ACTUAL image on the reel cover, but they are indeed very close to the description.The only other issue is that the colors are far more vibrant and the sparkles are far more "sparkly" in the photo than they are in the actual product.But they are very close in appearance, and I can tell that they serve their primary function well.Overall a good purchase. Just not quite as vibrant as shown in the description.

I only gave these 4 stars, and I know it is my own fault for not checking to be sure these had swivel alligator clips, but these are not quite as useful as I had hoped. They are beautiful, the work just fine, but they can only be attached one way - straight up and down. So, if that is not a problem for you, they are a great buy. If you need to attach them from different angles depending on what you are wearing, make sure to check the description.

the clip is so stiff it doesnt easily clip to your uniform. i imagine the clip snapping easily because of the stiffness. the retraction is shorter than others wich is a good safety feature. Mandela designs are fun.

He’s arrived in the mail just under two months ago so I’ve been using them about that long. The pattern is still in good shape with no signs of damage. However, two weeks ago the retraction mechanism stopped working all the time. Now it takes about 10 tries for my badge to fully retract. And then today I went to grab my badge out of my purse and the clip mechanism had broken off. I guess this is a case of you get what you pay for and it’s a good thing these come in a three pack, which still my only last you six months total. I got these because they were cute and I didn’t want to have to pay my institution $10 for a badge clip or whatever they charge, but since those last 2+ years I will definitely be doing that in the future.

I'm glad these came in a set of 3. The first one lasted about a week before I pulled it out to unlock a door and the cord wouldn't retract. I've been using the second one for a couple weeks now and it's held up fine so far. They weren't very expensive so I honestly didn't expect them to last more than a few months each. I only stretch and retract them a few times a day so I was a little disappointed in the first one giving out so quickly. Otherwise they clip nicely to my scrub top, hold up fine being tossed into my purse at the end of the day, and they are pretty.

I'm disappointed in how these look in person. I had high hopes based on the photos. Unfortunately these are just cheaply printed photos on thick stickers with some clear coat over the top. The glitter looking ones are not even photos of glitter, but different colored spots. The reels are your generic low cost ones like most others you'll find for this kind of price. They'll get the job done and have a good length on them (except one that was 6" shorter than the rest). Overall, I'll probably keep them because they were cheap.
