I am obsessed with my new mat from Tribe West! The micro suede is so soft and the design is stylish and modern, fitting perfectly in my new home. The micro suede is so easy to clean so my mat always looks brand new even though it has seen a mess or two or three... My toddler and baby both love playing on it plus I am never worried about my baby falling backwards because the padding is perfectly thick enough mitigate any heads bumps.You will not be disappointed with this mat in your home!

When looking for a play mat for my little man it was tricky to find something that hit all of the bases:* thick enough to provide cushion, but still soft enough for little ones to move comfortably* made from materials that would keep my babe safe* big enough for him to move* attractive design* easy to clean* doesn't break the bankThis product hit all of those bases, plus provides a philanthropic aspect. And best of all, their customer service is absolutely top notch. They are helpful, quick to respond and truly make you feel valued as a customer. I don’t write reviews often but I had to write one about this mat. It took me a while to settle on one - kept going back and forth w ideas (so many mat options out there) and when I saw this, I knew I had found the one. And now upon receiving it, I’m so very pleased w my decision! Love the size, design, how easy it is the clean, how soft it is, that it’s organic, and last but not least, how it gives back to artisans around the world!

I love this product and would recommend it to people looking for a slight amount of cushioning on hard floors for their babies. This product is different than foam play mats because it's very thin. But the advantage this mat has is the thinness! You can leave it out all the time and vacuum over it. Also, since it's not foam with a design printed on top, it won't be ruined by pet claws. I think the quality of this play mat is incredible. No frayed edges, and the microfiber design doesn't peel off the rubber. Its only flaw is the smell.I've had this product now in my living room for a month. The rubber smell mostly dissipated, but you can still smell it when playing with your kids on it. It doesn't bother me, since it's natural rubber and NOT chemicals (as some other reviewers have suggested). It's just something to keep in mind!If you are very bothered by smell, consider airing it out in your backyard or garage for a week or something before bringing it in.Overall, this product is just what I wanted. It cushions my baby's tumbles as she learns to crawl. It is aesthetically pleasing. It is durable in a household with pets and stands up to vacuuming. And it is easily rolled up for travel. If you are aware this product is NOT a thick, foam play mat and want something a bit more functional but not bulky, this is it!

I'm obsessed with Tribe West products. They are well made, unique, beautiful, comfortable, and very easy to clean. I just purchased a second Tribe West mat... the only reason I ordered a new one is because I wanted to keep one in my car for outdoor adventures with the kids (beach, parks, etc) and one in the kids' play area in my home. The one I've had in my home for over two years is in perfect condition still and it gets a ton of usage every day. Every time someone comes to my home, they compliment the mat. Before I discovered this company, I had a basic foam puzzle mat for my kids which was a complete eyesore; the Tribe West mat is the complete opposite!

I 100% recommend this playmat!I love how easy it is to roll out to use, or roll back up to put away (even has a carrying strap you can attach for easy traveling!)I love even more how crazy easy it is to clean. I’ve cleaned up after babies & dogs & it still looks brand new!It’s just soft enough for my newly sitting babe who still topples over from time to time, without being cushiony where it’s hard to get any grip when he tries to scoot around.It’s also SUPER cute!!I never leave reviews, but love it so much I wanted anyone considering this purchase to know it is well worth the money! :)

Great mat for the looks and for a kid who is allergic to dust that rugs carry.Window was open and it was covered in rain water and it's literally as slippery as ice when wet. Must now post a warning in the bedroom for renters. Not too thrilled it's a safety hazard in a summer house by a lake where windows are always open and rain tends to come in the rooms. I was going to order another to use on the screened-in porch! Not possible now. Be careful! Mat should come with this warning.

This mat works everywhere! It’s good on carpet for some extra bounce, works on hard wood, and with the carrying strap it is so easy to bring along on an adventure. Wipes clean pretty easily with a baby wipe. We love the simple design for our living room instead of bright colors and cartoon designs!
