Minor points:- It looks nice.- It doesn't feel too cheap, given that I bought it for $50- Everyone is complaining about no backlight. It's readable, it's quite dim, but is alright. The light button lights up a faint green light for 2 seconds. It's not that great, but I can live with it.More important points:- If you're buying for the functions (why else would you?) just know that it's not too easy to set everything up. You're going to need the little guide book that comes with it.- The response time on the thermometer is very slow. You should take it off for several minutes before it gives the actual temperature.- Altimeter most likely works based on the barometer. So if you're sitting in your house and in just a minute the watch says that you're 50 ft higher, don't worry, you and your house aren't getting abducted by aliens. It's just that the air pressure around you is dropping so the watch thinks you're gaining elevation. It works much better on a sunny day.- I've had it for 3 days and it so happened that one day it was sunny without a cloud in sight, one day was cloudy and it's pouring outside as I write this. Through it all the weather forecast on the watch has been partly cloudy. It's at least consistent, I give him that.- The compass works great after you calibrate it. Don't attempt it without the little guide book, it's unlikely that you can figure it out without the instructions.Overall, for $50 I think I will keep it just for fun and casual use. But if you want a really accurate one or want to rely on it for your long backpacking trip, you might be well advised to look into higher end watches.

I own this item for over six months by now.I love everything about this watch but one thing:almost right after I bought it, one segment in the digits that show seconds was gone.Not faded, just disappeared.Firstly, it would come and go with no particular pattern, then, in about two weeks it was gone completely and never came back.It makes half of the figures that show seconds unreadable.I will attach pictures to show you what I mean.I would certainly buy this watch again if not the concern that it may happen again.

The strap Is one piece and will most likely break and not be replaceable. It DOES NOT have a light. If you never want to look at the time right when you wake up ever then look at problem number one. So many cool gadgets so finicky. NOPE not a suunto replacement which also sucks because did I mention NO LIGHT. LED is poor contrast worse than suunto NOTHING like the picture.SO.... no seeing the time early in the morning in a cave or anytime not in direct light of course that is as long as you are not wearing tinted lenses. It is water proof and the clasp does not catch on your clothes and the color is cool.

I bought two and returned both. I also asked Amazon to remove this from their lineup. I bought this because I believed it wasnt Chinese junk but German engineering. It is Chinese junk! Beware!

All most everything in this watch is good, except that is only water resistant.Seriously is and outdoor watch and I can't swim with the watch on because maybe it will stop working.

3年とちょっと使用した後のレビューです。（手は尽くしましたが、2014年3月22日-2018年1月７日で残念ながら壊れました、１年に一回で３年に３回電池交換使用が限界と思われますが、自分で電池交換できない人の為に言っておきますが、新品電池で１年程度で電池が切れます。私は自分で交換できたのですが、、、最後は水がどうしても浸水してしまいくもりが表示部に入りデジタル表示がおかしくなりました）でも、よく頑張ってくれました。ありがとうございました。電池はパソコンと内臓の電池は交換できるのですが、プラスチック筐体にステンレス蓋の金属ネジ４本で止まっているのですが、ネジのメス側はプラスチックでねじ切りしてあります。（筐体も含めて金属が常識でしょうが、これはプラスチックです。）残念ながら電池は１年程度なので電池交換の度に劣化します。（防水なので少し強めにトルクをかけるとネジが馬鹿になってしまいます）硬化型のパテを馬鹿になったネジ穴に詰めてネジを切り直すという修理の術式をやってみましたが、３回が限界でした。これができない方の寿命は１年です。一回交換する度に締め付けが甘くなってきました。↓↓↓↓↓↓以下以前（2014年3月22日頃のコメント）コンパスは使う人によってデジタルコンパスは特に、ふらつきがおおくなります。私の経験では、スマートフォン、この時計、デジタルコンパスと名前がついているものはすべて、同じ方位で北になったり南になったり、めちゃくちゃです。なぜかはわかりませんが。。。必要はないのでいいとします。あと温度計は腕につけずにカバンにつけておけば正常ですかね。うでにつけるとめちゃくちゃです。はずすとなくすので。。。24時間356日（検診の時以外）私ははずしません。だから防水なのですが。必要はないのでいいとします。絶賛は気圧計です。　グラフで天気が読めるようになります。たとえ雨のふりそうなどんよりした曇り空でも晴れるか雨になるかわかるようになります。右肩上がりならば雨はぽつりと降っても絶対にどしゃぶりにはなりません。さがったらどんなに晴れていても雨がふります。長距離移動しなければ、ほぼ100％言い当てることができます。今現在ここは茨城県の土浦です。どんよりとした曇り空です。2014年4月2日16時25分です1019.2hpaです。傾向は午後13時から気圧が上がっています。ここをピークに下がったとしても１～３時間雨は絶対雨が降ることはできません。安心して洗濯物を干すことにします。何ヘクトパスカルだから雨という天気予報はあてになりません。気圧が高くても降るときは降るのです。中学の時に天気の授業をまじめにきいていれば、こんな便利なものはありません。電池も一般的なCR2032ボタン電池で100円ショップでも売っています。これも重宝ですね。（パソコン用のボタン電池です）交換すると防水が心配ですが、まだ電池はきれていません。時計・電池・気圧計以外は私的にはポンコツですが、この価格で気圧計＆変化が見れるタイプは大満足です。

思ってたよりもボディーサイズが大きく(46mm)ベルトも太い。(22mm)電池がCR2032だししかたがないか。高度計や天候表示は天候の悪い時期はあてにならないかも。　コンパスはたまに調子良く無く使う前にキャリブレーションしています。近くの建造物などが原因か。　トレッキング使うならカラビナでぶら下げる携帯タイプなら車のキー感覚で価格も安く良いかも。　因みに私はトレラン用にと思いましたが、GPSや心拍計が付いてスマホとも繋がる物のほうが良かったかな。半値だから仕方無いか。

月差-30秒くらいだったのでそこそこ高い頻度で補正が必要でした。(個体差あると思います)使用半年ほどでボタンが反応しなくなり、捨てるつもりで分解したところボタンが基盤に接触しなくなっていました。なぜこんな壊れ方をするのかはよく分かりません。分解時、水の侵入は確認できなかったので仕様書通りの防水性能程度はあるかと思います。あとどうでもいいですが実物見ると結構安っぽいです。
