Worked perfect on my Summit of Lobche, and Everest

I've been using this ascender every day for the past week on a construction project. It's been extremely reliable and easy to use. I weigh around 165 and have about 20 lbs of equipment on me. I use a GriGri attached to my harness to hold my weight, but will shift my weight to the ascender for different positioning techniques. It's worked well on both static and dynamic ~10mm ropes. Even while the ropes are soaking wet, this ascender still performs flawlessly. Not sure why they have left/right handed uses, as you only touch the release when you want to take it off the rope. Might as well go with the cheaper option if you don't care. Overall, great piece of equipment. However, I will add that my coworker hasn't had any issues with his off-brand ascender he purchased off Amazon.
