Learn How to Draw Using Charcoal for Beginners

Totally new to Charcoal Drawing, and this guide is very helpful in learning the basics. Early drawings may be crude, but practice makes perfect.

A good book for older more seasoned artists that can understand the lingo. Very descriptive verbally, but fewer pictures than I had imagined.

Not at all helpful! A beginner starting out doesn’t gain anything out of this book. The pictures illustrated in this book are all small, dark, unclear pictures! If the purpose of your buying this book is because you want to learn something new then it’s a wast of money!

No enough details to show how to get the outcome I am trying to accomplish

Seems to cover the basics of charcoal drawing. I bought this for my granddaughter who just got a charcoal set. I hope to teach her how to draw and shade.

The subject in this book is great for beginners, the physical book itself is really cheap, almost every other page fell out as I opened it the first time

I think this book lacks basic hints and tips. The 'bonus' book is just a tutorial on drawing wild animals. I have learnt more on the internet about using charcoal.

Very basic but does have good instruction on drawing a sphere and a kettle so good for beginners. Translated so irritating sometimes, like the heading of one chapter being 'Fruits' instead of 'Fruit'. Really, this book should be 99p rather than 1.99.

Just started a class in art and I have never really down drawing or used charcoal before. this books gives basic instructions on how to use charcoal and the pictures help me to understand how an image is constructed. Recommended
