Fancy feet
I rated these a 4 because i wear 98% of my flats with no socks or nylons. These squeeke when I wear them without socks and currently i need to by little toe socks in order to wear them. I dont know if the inside in leather or not but from trying them on and the annoying sound i dont think they are leather, but i may be wrong. The shoe itself is very pretty. Looks well made and the toe cap looks sturdy. Its not sewn on so there is no stitching, its metal, so that would be weird anyways. But the cut of the shoe is pretty and elegant. I wear a 6.5 in DV boots and 7 in DV flats. True to size. Im usually in between a 6.5-7 and am glad i got the 7 as the 6.5 would have been too tight. The black fabric is a nice soft leather.**9/28/12 I have lowered my score to a 3 from a 4. Ive been wearing my new shoes for 5 hours and my feet are killing me. One, the insides arent leather is vinyl so you for sure cant go sockless. Two, they are just incomfortable. Not much support, punch at the sides of my feet, and my feel hurts. For new shoes I am bummed. Since ive worn them around outside im not returning them as the soles are now "worn." They do look nice on my feet though, so sometimes the pain is worth it for cute feet.

Well made, but a little narrow
I really liked the way these shoes looked, so I just decided to buy these. I've never purchased any other DV by Dolce Vita shoes so I went out on a limb and bought a size 7 since other people said they were a bit small. I usually hover between shoe sizes 6 1/2 to 7 but more towards a 6 1/2.I fit the size 7 but maybe going a size up would have given my toesies a BIT more room. Right now, as I stand, I can touch the end of the shoe. If you do a lot of walking or you wear them the whole day, you might want to size up since your feet swell up by the end of the day anyway.I also don't have fat feet. My feet are actually pretty skinny but the bone on the inside of my foot, the one right at the joint near my big toe, tarsometatarsal joint (sorry to get all technical), really hurt. I have an office job, though, so I can stand them since I'm not on my feet all day.Other than that, these are well made shoes, the suede feels nice, and they look cute, but if you have plumper feet or do a lot of walking, I wouldn't recommend them.

Looks can be deceiving....
I love the look of these and had compliments on them, but the fit and comfort are disappointing! The patent leather is of it's high quality and the steel toe cap adds a style of it's own. As with the other reviews I decided to go one size up because I wear half size and to avoid an uncomfortable toe room. I was wrong, when I walked in them for 3 minutes the sides on both shoe dug into the inner & outer sides of my feet, OUCH!!! And since I had no other shoes w/me, I had to bare the pain, fortunately I work sitting down, but getting up to walk ...eeeks looks like I crapped my pants! On top of that walking, half a mile to get to my car! Since it's worn, I'm not able to return them and trying to figure out how to even wear them...I guess looking great can be painful:( and you can definitely see it:(

Cute but uncomfortable!
I purchased these in mint suede and absolutely love the look of the loafer, the mint color and chrome toe. However, they are definitely not the most comfortable loafer and since I usually wear flats with no socks or hosiery it definitely was a little painful to wear these shoes too long! Wish they were more comfy but they are definitely a good looking shoe!

Cute, but Ouch Ouch Ouch
I had a pair of DV loafers that I wore to death. I loved them, but they were starting to look a bit ragged. I purchased these in the same size, but ouch ouch ouch! Blisters galore. These hurt so bad I literally took them off in the parking garage at work. It may be a suede upper, but the inside of the shoe is this cheap material and there is ZERO padding or support. Literally, none. No amount of breaking in would have made these any better. If you do decide to shell out good money for cheap shoes, these run pretty true to size in length, but are extremely narrow.Really hoping this was just a fluke for DV.

These do NOT run small!
Based on reviews from many different websites, I ordered these in a larger size. Usually I take a 9 or sometimes a 9.5, but reviewers saying this shoe runs small convinced me to order these in a 10. Well, not only are they HUGE in length, but they are really wide (which I don't have a narrow foot). My advice, order them in your normal size, if not 1/2 size smaller. The shoes looked decent, but my husband said that the metal cap toe calls too much attention to the pointed toe and isn't that attractive. I'm returning them unfortantely.

Great Style, Not Best Quality
I LOVED these flats - I wore them all the time and the metal toe added a great touch to any outfit. I got them relatively cheaply (around $25?) and I owned them for about 4 months before the metal piece fell off one of the toes. It was a major bummer and I was a little disappointed in the quality. They look great, were affordable, I just wish they lasted longer!

Fabulous but tight toe box
They're so on trend. Great looking and just the right color but the toe box was short and tight. Typically I'm a 9 in DV but not these. :-( was going to order up but feared heel would slip and it would gap. Next time perhaps.
