The TekMat is an intermediate size and thickness—fine for pistols or other work items of a similar size. Quality seems good and it should hold up over time.

It's a quality mat that will keep your parts where they need to stay and keeps you from getting oil/cleaner all over your table. Got this one for my X-Macro just because I went "fanboy" on the pistol, but it was worth the purchase. Makes a nice gift too. Rolls up easy if you need to make some room.

I am on various handguns/firearms, and recently purchased a Sig P365 XL. I needed a mat for cleaning, assembly and disassembly of it, as well as my others. I liked this one, as it is similar to my current one that includes a graphic of a Glock, but many years of use and wear and oil finally caught up to it, and it needed to be replaced. I like these kinds of mats because they are suitably sized, not rigid and easy to store, easy to clean, and of course they have the blown up, piece by piece assembly layout which helps during reassembly and modifications. I’m happy with the product, and the price is fair and reasonable. I am unhappy, however, with the condition in which the mat arrived. The packaging was intact and not damaged, but the mat was dirty and looked like it had been dropped on the ground, drug around, and not wiped off. There is what looks like to be grass, some dirt, and light staining. Fortunately, this is on the backside of the mat and not the front with the screen printed diagram and part model. This disappointed me, but it should not detract from the quality of the mat itself. It is more of an issue with the seller, be at Amazon or third-party. It still works I just had to spend time cleaning a brand new product I bought. Nonetheless, this is still a great product and it meet my needs.
