Buyer beware and horrible communication and customer service from Craftsy Lyfe
At first glance out of the box, extremely happy with how the shelves and brackets look. Looks like good quality for the price paid. All of the hardware that came with it, however, was very cheap, didn't work, some of the screws didn't even have ANY threading. Received one email from company asking how purchase was, so I told them the issues with the hardware. Received an email back thanking me for my input and it would be passed along so it didn't happen in the future...but, um, what about my issue now?! Left seller feedback and got another email from company-something about hanging in there with them while they are dealing with shipping issues, well this has nothing to do with me, our product or issue I said I had. That email prompted me to this review page...so due to lack of good communication from the seller and shelves are great, but they need to be sturdy on the wall and all the hardware for hanging that came with it is about useless, buyer beware is my final thoughts on this! Just know, you may have to get your own anchors and screws, because what came with it was junk.

Great sturdy shelves
When I received the shelves I was pleasantly surprised that the wood was a bit darker and more brown which matched perfectly with my farmhouse decor! The shelves are real, solid wood. The brackets are matte black, exactly as shown. The hardware that I received did not work well. The screws were too skinny and just slid in and out of the drywall anchors that were provided. I had to use different screws that fit better in the drywall anchors. These shelves are a bit heavy and so you want to make sure they are secure to the wall. Overall I am super happy with the shelves, the quality, and the color. Just wish the mounting hardware had worked better.

Great product and great look. We love it.
Overall, I love the shelves and I think they are a great look. We redesigned a portion of the office and they worked great. I am very pleased and would highly recommend these shelves to anyone looking for a "rustic" kind of look.My only complaint is the anchors that come with the shelves for installation. For those you don't know you get plastic anchors that go in the wall and then you screw screws into the anchors to secure the mounting hardware. The yellow anchors that come with these shelves are cheap and no good. I had to use other anchors and luckily I'm handy and had the additional supplies on hand.I would recommend that you buy additional anchors BEFORE you attempt to install these. The big concern would be ruining your wall.

Exactly as described
This shelf replaced a "floating" zinc shelf that never sat level. I liked the look of the black metal brackets and the dark finish of the wood. This shelf is installed under a black-framed mirror in my small entry way and really looks good. Had to use hollow wall anchors instead of the cheap yellow plastic hangers that seller provides, but other than that, the brackets were easy to install; the shelf fits the opening in the brackets perfectly. Overall, pleased with the look and quality of this item. It is rather narrow, from front to back, but not an issue for my needs. I would recommend this product.

Bracket are not uniform does not sit flush to wall
Do not order. Received package quickly & should’ve been a straight forward install onto the wall, however the metal brackets were not uniform, varying in size and only one of them fit over the shelf correctly. The remaining brackets did not fit flush to the wall thereby not being secured. You can see in attached photos the gap between a flat surface and the brackets.It’s a shame as they would’ve looked sharp and matched with the rustic theme in the house.

Cute rustic shelving
Overall these shelves look great on the wall and they are packed well with pamphlets about design and how the company gives to charity because of your purchase. If you want to get nit picky the stain was a bit uneven and the screws break easily but the shelves were called RUSTIC and they included lots of extra screws! I hate not having hanging hardware included so this was excellent. So overall after install I am pleased with the look and easy install.

Missing brackets
I brought these shelves for my laundry room. I read the reviews and bought different screws and anchors for installation. When they came i opened the box and there was only 3 brackets. 4th bracket was missing. I emailed the company and have yet to get a response. I cant comment on installation because i havnt installed them due to the missing 4th bracket. Ive sent 2 emails now and have yet to get a response on getting the 4th bracket sent to me. Use caution ordering these shelves. The wood seems nice and sturdy. But you may be missing important peices to install your shelves.Update: still never heard from the seller. I ultimately had to return the product for a refund. Would not recommend to anyone.

Really Nice Shelves
My original set came with no hardware. I think the box ripped while in transit. Upon communicating with someone from Amazon, they sent me a new one right away and I had to return the set with no hardware, which is a bit annoying, but that's life.The shelves are real wood and they look great. The mounting hardware is nice, but the design of it makes it hard to really get it to fit snugly on the wood. It's almost like a clamp around the wood and getting it to fit is hard.
