Excellent Value Waterproof Tent
Update: Nov 2020 - After reviewing and using the orange tent last year I liked it enough to buy another this year. We haven’t used a ground cloth/footprint and it has been fine. Love the tent. It is heavier than the BA Copper Spur UL3 but costs so much less and other features are same or better so we decided on value over weight. The stakes that come with it weigh the same as the UL red aluminum ones I bought from Amazon so am using those. The red Amazon ones are nicer as the bend less but both are fine. The only differences between the two tents is that orange is not offered and the gear loft was (so sad about this) discontinued, and the stuff sack has more webbing and clips on it. My opinion is that the stuff sack is now less useful because it is heavier for no useful reason. I leave it at home. The hanging hooks for the gear loft remain so you can make one yourself out of mesh. I hope Safacus discontinues the excess bag features and invests that savings into reinstating the mesh gear loft which is very useful and worth the minimal weight to me. The tent has built in pockets in the mesh sidewalls but the gear loft is a nice place to lay the headlamp to light the tent. Condensation is not a problem, notice the ceiling vents in the images I attached. The dew on the outside of the tent dries quickly and the tent stuffs easily into our packs. We use only 8 stakes and all is great. If I had unlimited funds or was thru hiking I would try the BA Copper Spur for hundreds of dollars but for my occasional weeklong hikes, this $65 tent is awesome! Communication with customer service about the “missing” gear loft was a positive experience.2019: We haven’t slept in this yet but set it up and it is as spacious and easy to use as we hoped. The color is nice and the dual doors, dual vestibules at this low price is what we needed for our occasional two-day hikes. I replaced the stakes with some lightweight aluminum ones sold on Amazon for less than $10. I might also use a stuff sack for it instead of the provided carrying bag. I agree with other reviewers that this is an excellent light tent for the money. The floor is similar weight fabric as the sides so it feels fragile. I will probably get a piece of tyvek to use as another layer on some hikes. I chose orange so if lost in the woods I can be seen.

Awesome tent!
This tent rocks! We spent three days hiking in the Sierra Nevada mountains, and this tent performed flawlessly. The stitching was excellent, the seams were taped well, the mesh had no issues and the light aluminum stakes that came with them did not fail or bend. This is by far, the best tent I have ever owned!!!

Lightweight, nice color
Sets up very easily, seems waterproof, has a nice colored cover that completely covers the tent to the ground. Lots of space inside, definitely enough for two average sized people. Feels warm/insulated enough. I am planning on taking this backpacking in Iceland in September.

HUGE
It's way bigger when erected than I thought it would be. Easy to put up. I'd put down a tarp underneath, to be sure you down tear the flooring.
