Although I’d like it to be a bit cheaper, make no mistake, this is a comfortable cushion and I’m glad I got it. If you work from home, sit long hours in a chair, get this thing now. You’ll be glad you did. If you can get it on sale then even better!Edit 4 stars: the cushion smells and smell rubs off onto anything it touches. When you take off the cover to wash it make sure you put the gel cushion on paper towels or something so the smell won’t rub off on everything. Will update as I use this more.Edit 3 stars: the smell is a bit overbearing. I washed it with soap and it’s still there! Down to 3 stars because of the smell but at least it is comfortable.Edit 4 stars again 8/14/2020: still smells a bit but it is very comfortable. After extensive sitting every day every since I bought it, it is still very comfortable. I like it.

Love this seat cushion. But for the money it could bevabout 6 inches wider. I put it on my office chair seat and have about 4 in. On each side. If you weight less then a hundred pounds it would be the perfect size. But for larger people it is quite small. You need to purchase 2 to cover the chair seat. I think they can do better. Otherwise its a great product.

About 13 years ago I slipped and fell on my bottom side, and broke or otherwise damaged my tailbone. 30 to 60 days later it healed up. Last year for no apparent reason it started hurting again. Cushions did not really help. This, being $30-40 was not in my budget, esp since 9 out of 8 times, As Seen on TV products just seemingly dont do what they claim, and returning items is just not on my list of things to do.Saturday evening I decided to break down and try it. Thank you Amazon and seller for prime next day shipping and relatively easy returns, which made the decision to go for it a lot easier to try. I am very happy to say this was a perfect purchase and transaction. Based solely on the first day of usage, it appears to be exactly what was promised: a cushion that helps relieve pain from sitting. I can actually sit on this thin cushion without feeling the pain from my tailbone.Concerns: I have not sat on it for hours on end, yet. I assume it will still work, but no proof yet.Durability. I am in hopes it will last quite a while, but only time will tell. As time goes on, I plan to leave an update and let everyone know whether or not it flattens out quickly or becomes damaged in an untimely manner. But, so far, it is precisely what I could have expected. I highly recommend it, at this point.

I purchased this cushion after finding out that I'd be working from home due to the pandemic. I have lower back issues, and have a job where I'm at a computer 8-10 hours a day. I'm also a big man at 6' tall and 300lbs. I have a SecretLabs Titan XL and the seat is the absolute worst in a chair supposedly designed for long periods of sitting (not relevant to this review but if you are looking for a comfortable chair, SecretLabs is NOT the one to purchase). After sitting in my chair for 8 hours, I can barely walk. So I started looking for a cushion to supplement the lack of cushioning from my chair. I didn't immediately review this as I wanted to give it time to break in and give it a fair chance. So here's my review after using it for 2.5 months, 40-50 hours per week...At the time I purchased this cushion, I wasn't sure what I was really needing and decided to split the difference between cost and need. With 214 reviews at a 4 star average, I figured the price was right and bought the cushion. And it is comfortable, to a point. It's not much relief after sitting on it for 8-10 hours. The issue is that I think the cushion is just too thin. The first couple hours are fine and then as the day goes on it becomes more and more uncomfortable and I'm still having issues walking after spending a full shift in the chair with the cushion.It's extremely durable, and the cover is great. The anti-skid on the bottom works extremely well on my leather chair, and it does not bunch up underneath me.The 4 star rating I'm giving is very subjective, and I don't want my experience to tarnish your decision to purchase this cushion. For the price, this cushion is exactly what you'd hope for. It hasn't done anything really to help my pain after sitting in it for 40-50 hours a week. Other, more viable options, were over $100 and I wasn't willing to make that kind of purchase. The cushion does what it's supposed to do, just not as well for me as it could be.

I have been working from home (my dining room) for the last 3 weeks due and we all know that dining room chairs are no substitute for a well constructed office chair, so I needed something that would make me feel more comfortable. Enter this gel seat cushion. It came today and I immediately started using it. It comes with 2 nice covers (one is black and another one is gray). I can feel the difference after 6 hours of using it.

I ordered this cushion and had my husband bring it in to me when I was in a rehab center for an extended period of time. I had to sleep on my back, and my butt was getting really sore. This cushion solved the problem. I just placed it on top of the bottom sheet, then made a point of positioning myself so my tailbone was in the groove designed for that purpose. It was warm in that rehab center, too, and this pad did not feel hot, Kind of pricey for a temporary need, but it was worth it, and I think there's a chair at home I'll be able to use it in.
