Beautiful to knit with but the white is more a cream
This is lovely yarn and I have ordered more of it in other colours as it is perfect for a new baby. The only negative comment is that although there is an option for white or cream, the white is not 'true' white and is more of a cream colour. I can only imagine the 'cream' colour is darker. The yarn works well in either knitting or crochet and I haven't had any problems with knots or inferior yarnIt is rather expensive too I require two balls for a small jacket and that's almost £12 a time.Despite those negatives I gave this 5 stars for sheer delight in using itRecommended

This has a cashmere content. Soft but it sometimes ‘shreds’.
It’s a good wool for baby items because relatively soft. Has a tendency to shred. The last batch I bought had quite a few knots where the wool was joined. Since I was making a large blanket and did not want joins I had to double back so that joins were at the edges. No experience yet of how it washes.

Difficult to work with
Bought this based on the good reviews but it really isnt great. It's like trying to work with string , it's constantly splitting and I'm having to go back and make sure I've caught all the loose threads. I used it anyway because it was expensive but the end product had a few random threads that I'll have to fix.Disappointing considering the price.
