Incredible audio experience in a small package!! Renewed is a deal!
Amazing earbuds! I couldn’t wait to get these in. They came earlier than I had expected. I don’t know why you would pay extra for a cardboard box and a manual (you can get that online). I swear this pair is brand new. There were no fingerprints or scratches, no signs of any use. Comes with case, charge cord, all the foam and silicon S,M,L tips. So basically an amazing deal. Go renewed! So let’s break these down: SOUND Crisp, clear and distinct. To the regular music lover these will be incredible. To the audiophile/music snob they will be even more so because of the in depth complexity of layers you can achieve with your music especially through their companion app. Bass is heavy if you so choose, if you want less you can set it to less. But it performs wherever you want it to. They get loud too. I was pleasantly surprised if I need to blast them they can. DESIGN Sleek and comfortable. I have larger sized ears so they fit very nicely. My wife is quite the opposite. Her ears are small and they do not fit as well even with the smaller size eartip. The earbud sits a little awkwardly in her ears and don’t quite seal as well. So NOTE if you have SMALLER ears, maybe not the buds for you. Otherwise they are extremely comfortable for me. There are no buttons to press, but small touch pads that require taps. Simple easy controls that you can again customize to your own preference. And as of this week now there are volume control options so that’s another plus!! Also let’s just admit here they look extremely stylish. BATTERY Insane. Great life (5-6hrs) with a single charge and noise cancelling on. Three more full charges in the case. Wow. ACTIVE NOISE CANCELLING Works wonders. It’s not perfect. It’s not the same as the over the ear versions. But dang it’s close. I put these on and voices drown out, fans disappear, AC gone, lots of mid range tones vanish. Super happy with how they perform. I plan on using these through work for sure. CASE Bigger than a lot of others but still not burdensome. Maybe bigger than what you want in the pockets of your skinny jeans. But throw it in your bag or purse, you won’t notice. I won’t mind it in my pockets. My problem will be opening and closing it. It’s addictive how smooth it closes and they way the buds snap in to their magnets so crisp. Also very sleek looking. WATER/SWEAT RESISTANCE Not rated. But that doesn’t mean that they can’t handle little stuff. But at your own risk. Someone I know used theirs for workouts, walks in the rain, and their dog got a hold of one and they worked fine through it all. But just know that they definitely have no IPX rating. Interesting side note. I ordered black, got the grey version. So not sure where the confusion lies. My order definitely says black. But I’m so happy with having these finally, I am no way in heck sending them back. The grey looks sick anyways. Black or grey, you are getting a killer product for a steal of a price while at $150, while people are spending $230 in stores. Wearing them now, easy to forget I have them in and also that there are noises all around me that I currently don’t hear one bit even with music low volume. Any Cons?? If it’s really windy, you will pick up some white noise almost in the sound. They stay in your ear really well, but if you are extremely active and move a ton( very quickly, Explosively), these may not stay in 100% like some lower profile ones would perhaps. With no water/sweat resistance rating you also risk using these in sweaty rainy conditions. Case may be a little bulkier than most prefer. Besides the discomfort to smaller ears perhaps, the only other thing I can think of is the terrible name these come with. Let’s be honest you aren’t buying these for the name though. Because they’re great. You won’t be disappointed.

Refurb Review
First I want to talk about the Refurb factor. I was nervous to order refurbs because it often feels like rolling the dice. As a verified refurb purchaser, I can say I'm ecstatic. Mine even came in the original box with all the accessories. I was worried the battery wouldn't perform like a new pair, and that trepidation was also squashed. These function just as though they were brand new. Ecstatic with these refurbs. Now let's get to the headphones themselves. I own many pairs of headphones. Sennheiser Hd650, Beyerdynamics, and AKG 550, for example. I also have quite a few earbuds, Sony XBA-H3 probably being my favorite earbuds that I own. I love good audio and am willing to spend a few bucks for it. So what brought to buying these WF-1000XM3? The noise cancelling, true wireless, and reported sound quality. In all three categories, these are amazing. Packing all this in such a small and attractive package is a remarkable achievement. Sony basically created the active noise cancelling true wireless IEM market with these headphones. Noise cancelling: Best in the business for IEMs. You gotta get over-the-ear to surpass the noise cancelling of the WF-1000XM3. These silence dishwashers, washer&dryer, air conditioner, and other ambient noises that we get used to having constantly around us. I some times pop these in and not even play music...just to silence the world. Amazing that these work so well given the small form factor. True wireless: Some factors for a true wireless that matter to most consumers are battery life, water resistance(IP rating), and latency(when viewing videos). Battery life is really good. They last as advertised and sometimes longer at lower volumes. Comes with quick charge. Won't find better battery performance from any other high-end active noise-cancelling IEMs. Water resistance isn't listed. These do not have an IP rating. I have used them in the gym, but I don't really sweat much until the end of my workout. I wouldn't bring them in the shower, but they should be okay in light rain or a light workout. I have a second pair of true wireless IEMs, Jlabs Signature, that I use for heavier workouts and shower(these do have IPX rating). Probably one of the most important thing for users is latency. I can report that these have no latency when used with my Galaxy Note 10 plus. Can watch a video on youtube, netflix, disney+ or amazon prime without any lip synching issues. Sound Quality: These are great. I don't think they're as good as my wired XBA-H3 or my over-the-year pricier headphones, but these are great. I played around a LOT with the EQ, and I am very happy with the sound. I would describe the sound as very precise and balanced. I can identify every sound and instrument. There isn't a blending of sounds that you can get from cheaper headphones with smaller drivers. Everything from the low end to the high end is precisely represented. IEMs in general don't provide a big sound stage, but these do provide A sound stage. I feel surrounded by the music, as opposed to feeling like the music is coming from inside my head. It's a really fun pair of headphones with which to enjoy music and video. The EQ on the headphone app works great. Every little minor adjustment does make a tremendous difference, so take your time getting your preferred sound out of these. With proper EQ tweaking, everyone from a basshead to a classical music listener should be able to achieve what they want out these versatile gems. They are a great value at full price. At the refurb price? these are an outright steal.

These are worth it sort of!!
I don’t know if it’s because it’s renewed or not but I have had these for over a week or 2 and have been using them constantly I have experienced some goods some bads but here is what I have to say if your buying these for sound quality and noise reduction do it best wireless earbuds I’ve heard but if you are looking for the best top quality noise canceling earbuds don’t from my experience it’s more of a noise reduction now I can say by testing these they can block out sound pretty well it’s just they only really can cancel sound if you listen to music and the ambient noise is well it’s like an android microphone that doesn’t even really pick up voice too well maybe I got a bad pair or not but the pros for this is it’s almost half price as the original the sound quality is really good it can change eq setting with the app which the app can be annoying at times but the eq works really well and it can block out some sound but not all. the cons they won’t stay in your ear at least mine they don’t the noise cancelling isn’t as good as everyone made it seem at least mine are not I’ve tried the apple AirPod pros and from what I’ve experienced those are better with call quality noise cancellation and ambient mode are they worth there price tag i don’t know are these earbuds worth the price tag yes for 100$ earbuds is what I got them for yes they do a great job just wish they would be better at noise cancellation and ambient mode and I would be much happier an ipx rating would be nice too but that’s what I think and have experienced for this short time overall are they worth it yes but if money isn’t an issue look elsewhere if all you want is wireless earbuds that have good sound quality some noise reduction and long lasting battery life these are what you should get but if not those I don’t up to you overall I rate them a 4.5

These. Are. Amazing...
These are my first (and only) WiFi buds. I've been part of the amateur 'audiophile' world for decades, and have had scores of headphones, earphones (IEM's), etc. I really didn't know what to expect, and have been blown away by these. Functionality is excellent, with one bud controlling some functions (start, stop, skip, etc.), and the other controlling sound (noise cancellation, ambient sound, etc.). The noise cancellation is excellent, but my the reason for the 4-star rating is because I cannot get the tips into my canals deep enough to provide true isolation. I bought the Comply tips for these, and they kick butt over the silicon (JMHO, so don't flame), though the silicone ones that come with it are very good quality. I also wish Comply would make tips for this that are longer for a deeper insertion. Sound is wonderful. Yes, I'm using the EQ on the app (which I normally like to avoid), and it tunes these brilliantly. Great extension on both ends. Sparkling highs and punchy deep bass. An oddity (in a good way?) is that the sound is so much richer with the noise cancellation on, and rather thin without it. That is so much better than if it were reversed. The battery power both on the buds and case are very good. I've yet to drain them fully, so haven't done any kind of testing regarding time, but they have lasted quite a long time. Phone calls with either my Android (Pixel 3) or iPhone 11 are crystal clear, and people I talk to say they can hear me very clearly. So that is a really nice add. No one has said that I'm dropping out or that background noise is annoying... and I've asked them. Another thing to note is that these are 'Refurbished'. I normally don't go that route, but since I was unsure about the whole WiFi bud thing, this was my entry. They were PERFECT in every way. Clean, pristine, etc. Well done. Since I have no idea what other WiFi buds sound like or act like, take this with a grain of salt, but know that I have zero reason to look elsewhere. So... if you're looking to get into this kind of thing, believe the positive reviews... I read most pro reviews, and these are on most people's list as being one of the best 'all-round' units. And they're right. First rate. Enjoy.

Great sound, great noise-cancelling, mediocre battery life
I bought these back in February, so I've had a while to live with them. The sound quality is excellent. I can hear things in my music I can't hear with lesser headphones. (There's an opening tone in "Round Here", by Counting Crows, that I can only hear on very good headphones.) The case is great, and holds a charge reasonably well. I can usually go several days without charging the case itself. I didn't think having Alexa on the earbuds would make much of a difference to me, but it really does. I have Alexa-powered lights at home, so I can turn my lights on and off when I'm out without even taking my phone out of my pocket. Since I also have Amazon Music, I can easily play my music with the earbuds, too. I updated my review to talk about the battery life. If I listen to my music on volume 3 (as set by Alexa), I can usually get 3.5 hours out of the earbuds with the noise cancelling on before I get a low battery warning. That's not really good. The low-battery warning doesn't mean you've got only minutes left of a charge. Usually, I can get another hour, if I really push it, but for such expensive earbuds, I would expect better. I don't know if it's because they're renewed, but the battery life just isn't good. The biggest downside I can see with the earbuds is that the touch controls are somewhat limited. Touch controls can control Alexa/Google Assistant, the volume, and playback (pause, skip, play, back). But unfortunately, you can only control two of those at a time. I have mine set to control Alexa and playback. Luckily, you can use Alexa (and I assume Google Assistant) to control the volume, so that works out okay. These earbuds lack water resistance, but I wouldn't let that scare you away unless you have ruined earbuds before with sweating or you know you're going to be around a lot of water. I've used these consistently while working out, and despite how much I've sweat, I haven't had any problems. Overall, I think these are excellent earbuds. They give great sound, have Alexa and Google Assistant support, and block noise well. Just don't expect all-day battery life with the ANC on. If you can live without the noise cancelling, you can step down to the Galaxy Buds Plus, which are the earbuds I'm listening to as I write this review. You won't get noise cancelling, but if you can get a good fit with the ear tips and the wingtips, you'll block out a lot of the sound. You'll also lose Alexa integration, so you'll have to decide if you can live with that. But if battery life is more important than noise cancelling, check them out.

Kings of Customization (without fancy box)
So it’s been about a week. I’ve literally used them every day. They are great over all. I got these to replace my wh ch-700n’s and essentially these sound just as good, have just as good noise canceling, and are 1/6 the size. I wanted these because I feel wearing headphones in public is a bit rude, but I wanted better sound than AirPods and ANC is fantastic when needed. Although this product is great it is far from perfect: the case is roughly 33% bigger than the average for wireless earbuds, they’re not that comfortable, and they just can’t compete with the ease of use of apple and beats products with iOS given their proprietary chip. That said, Sony’s app is great. There’s an EQ board that can make these sound how ever you want. You can also choose between ambient modes for the ANC. For example I have the Ambient mode turned off when I’m sitting down so that I save battery life, I have it set half way up on the ambient sound when I’m walking with a priority on voice so that I can talk with friends, Noise cancelling turned up all the way while in vehicles, and wind noise reduction turned on for running. The customization here is crazy. The battery life is great too, and they charge fast enough that if you switch back and fourth with only 1 bud in, it’ll fully charge 1 bud before the other one (that your using) gets even close to dead. If you have touch controls turned off (which I do), don’t use ambient sound modes, and play music at under 75% volume; you can get 8 hours of battery off the earbuds alone, + 24 hours including case. Otherwise you get between 5 and 7ish hours, which is still noticeably better than AirPods. Lastly I’m gonna end it on, $180 is a great price for these. I personally don’t think that the original sealed box is worth $40+ but knock yourself out, with how much I use these $220 is still very reasonable. Conclusion If you want the most customizable wireless earbuds out there, these are for you. But if you want something that’ll just connect to your iPhone and work without giving it much thought or effort, I’d recommend getting the AirPod Pro if you want ANC and a smaller product, or the PowerBeats Pro if you are an athlete and want a secure fit and a water proof product. But if your the kinda guy, that’ll sit down and spend an hour tinkering and tweaking with all the features and adjustments the app has to offer: you will throughly enjoy this product. And if you enjoyed Sony’s wh-1000XM3s, these little guys do their big brothers justice. They sound, like a pair of closed back headphones. In the end, I’d say the worst part of these earbuds is their name.

Feels like-new. Fits good. Lasted two domestic flights + 2-night camping trip.
What's in the box: Headphones, charging case, usb > usb-c charging cable, foam + silicone eartips Condition: Like-new. No mess like in some posts, so YMMV Arrival: USPS is a mess so don't be discouraged if they hit "wrong address" as mine did. They came in a day ahead of estimate. Why I got these: Excellent ANC and better than average sound quality. Great deal. Had to travel and wanted something better than passive noise cancellation. Fit: 4/5 (with practice) My ears are very asymmetrical; most inner-ears fit terribly unless they are bi-flange or comply foam tips. One large and one medium were used and formed a good seal, but require some adjusting to. Silicone doesn't block as much sound but is definitely better for long-time wear in less noisy environments. I can run in these but even with a good fit, parkour/flips would be a no-no (try airpods basic with aftermarket fins instead, as they are lighter). They're not flush to the ear, but don't stick far out like Frankenstein's monster. Isolation: 4/5 Good with passive, and great with ANC. On the airplane I would say sound was cut down by about 70%. My brother in law just ran the vacuum near me and I didn't notice until I saw him. Pass-through seems okay but you'll likely prefer to take one bud out anyways during conversation. Sound quality: 4/5 Deep bass hump with pretty flat and clear mid/highs. The Sony app lets you adjust EQ so you get the right frequencies you want without raising the volume. Wish it saved EQ settings to the headphones though. Connectivity/Usability: 5/5 I use them for listening to music, traveling, and making calls. Touch controls are dead-simple but also reprogrammable via the Sony app. Battery Life: 5/5 I expected much shorter play time out of a refurb (like 3+ hours instead of advertised 6) and, so far, have not been able to kill them with noise-cancelling on at all times. YMMV, but it beats my old gen 1 Airpods currently sitting at barely 1.5 hours of playtime. Conclusion: Great travel and work headphones. If eartips are 100% comfortable, get comply tips. Next best deal are refurb Jabra Elites at $120+ but the ANC evidently is not as good. Try them.

For the price, there are better options
I have owned some earbuds. Most are from Beats. This is my first time to own "not American" brand earbuds. Its sound is louder and smoothier than Beats. Easy to connect and use. However, I returned those earbuds because - I hate the red light in front of the earbuds. I didn't use it more than 10 minutes to tell how long the battery lasts but the Sony earbuds took a long time to full charge. There is no sign to tell if it is full charged either. The red light is always there no matter if the battery is full or not, no matter if you open or close the charging case. If you like to keep the earbuds in the bedroom, it would be like an one red alien eye looking at you all night long. - Bad Bluetooth connection: It is easy to connect the earbuds and easier to lose connection between my phone and the earbuds. When the earbuds were put back into the case and picked up again, they didn't connect to the phone automatically again. They were still in the list of the paring devices of the Bluetooth but I couldn't make it connect unless I had to start over from the beginning. After 2 minutes, the device disconnected again. I haven't had this issues with any of my earbuds and I knew that they should be returned.
