I was considering whether I would wear a heavier built brace and decided to get one of these to see if I even could stand something similar, and reasoned if I do like it, I can wear it under clothes. It works very well although I'm sure not as supportive as a heavier version, it is great as a trainer working up to that and also very comfy so can be worn for long periods of time. It helps with back pain and a good bit with posture. I ordered the size according to the chart and it fits okay but if I order another I am going a size smaller just for the extra pressure on shoulders and waste although it likely won't be as comfy to be worn as long at a time. I might order another as well as I may order a heavier more adjustable version of a back brace. I am glad I got it. It has helped already, is well made and a good value for the price. My only complaint is the shoulders aren't adjustable and they could be a little bit tighter for me but overall it is a good purchase. I think especially if you have never worn a brace like this before it is a great way to test it out and get used to retraining your muscles.

I bought this as an alternative to by big and bulky back brace. This item offers NO back support whatsoever. I am on average a size 4 so I bought a size small and it fits big on me. The “supports” that go up the back are so flimsy and bendable which is why it offers no support for the back. The straps that go around your arms dig in to your underarms quite a bit. If you are looking for back support, please go buy something else.

I am going to be using this product under my work clothes. It fits nice I ordered an extra large I'm normally a large but I have gained some weight. So it is a true extra large. It does feel weird around the shoulders it's not very comfortable under near my armpits but I do like it it does remind me to keep my posture straight I can't tell if it is assisting me or not. It is keeping my core tighter so probably my back and shoulders too... I don't know if it will help me lose weight in the waist training aspect but it is thick so I'm sure if I were to run with it there would be thermal action. I am happy with my purchase.Giving it a 3 because of the lack of comfort of the straps.

Gives decent, but not exceptional support, but it's more comfortable than some of my other braces, so I can wear it when i don't want to wear the more sturdy ones. I have very poor posture, so I try to wear something several hours each day -- and I've come to the conclusion that swapping between the different support items (see my other reviews) really is helpful.One: they do slightly different things, so using different ones allows me to support my back or my shoulders in different places.Two: they don't rub or put pressure on exactly the same place day after day. I can keep getting my posture opened up without developing pressure or stress points.The tummy support is moderate. It does more to keep my core controlled, which makes me stand straighter - and sit up straighter while at my computer -- which is where i spend many hours every day.I don't think it will truly 'train' your waist, though if you wear it under something, you will have a smoother profile. If you need a girdle or spanx or whatever they are calling them these days, you probably should buy a purpose built one. The true waist trainers I've seen people use to get a smaller waist, usually have a way of cinching the waist tighter over time. I don't think that's particularly healthy, but to each his/her own. This is more a tummy smoother and core supporter.As I get straighter, I may wear it with the figure of eight shoulder brace for extra shoulder opening, but probably only for short periods.I like that it spreads the support and control along my whole torso.Shoulder straps would benefit by padding like some of my others (I sometimes swap pads between the various items. You can tuck a rolled up hand towel underneath so it doesn't rub your shoulders (under the arms), but it is OK for a few hours, if worn over a sweat shirt or something a bit heavier than a t shirt.Cons:- It rides up when I'm sitting, but stays mostly in place when I'm up and walking around. I just pull it down as best I can while I am seated. I like the fact that it is 'long line' so I will put up with the rolling up. When standing, the length makes it more stable.- It tends to rub the back of my neck when I am sitting. Pull down, readjust. If you position it properly when putting on, it doesn't ride up as much.- It is EXTREMELY hard to zip up - very glad for the hook and eye fasteners, or the zipper would never go up. I could get a larger size, but it would defeat the purpose. It's comfortable once on, so I don't think it's the wrong size.Wish the straps were adjustable -- tightenable - like my others. I have ended up tightening my others as I got used to them and loosening them when they bind a bit if i sit for a while. *These straps are (very sturdy) elastic. My experience is that with time, that will STRETCH. So far, so good.Note: I am not wearing it for pain control. haven't noticed any pain change, but i don't have huge pain. It may prevent some pain from sitting hunched over.Overall: Happy.

So, I’m not one to ever really post reviews about a product...but this thing right here!!! This is a game changer, ladies! I have had upper back and neck pain for years- since taking a desk position and now working primarily from home. Always historically being on my feet in fast paced nursing roles, the desk job has wreaked havoc on my body. I have tried so many different products to rectify my posture issues, but nothing ever seemed to work. I finally decided to look past the intimidation of this magnificent product, and purchased it. Not only did I feel immediate relief, it also completely changes my physical appearance. I never realized how poor my posture had become.Also worth mentioning, for those with larger breasts like me (36 D), this product will help ditch those looming thoughts of an immediate breast reduction! Seriously...you put this on with a well supported bra and not only is the back pain gone, but the bosom is boosted, producing a perky and confident look (and I say that as I sit in my perpetual quarantine sweats!)The straps on the shoulders are comfortable and don’t dig into my armpits, which I love! For the part I was most intimidated about- the stomach cinching- it’s actually not as uncomfortable as I had expected. I do feel my abdominal muscles more engaged with the posture, but it’s totally doable.Wearing it while sitting and typing for work is also not unpleasant. It, again, takes a lot of strain off my back and neck. I am unsure how this bad boy will do for the days I will be standing on my feet all day administering covid vaccines...but I will try it out on Wednesday!I can’t speak highly enough of this product. I definitely recommend!!
