Regular Sata Cable
I just needed a sata cable for my build, so I purchased the first listing I came across on Amazon. This is listing that came up first so I went ahead and bought it. I received the sata cable in only a few days and it came in decent packaging. It was very easy to unpackage as well as easy to install. Did not come with anything extra such as a user manual which people might need if they've never built a computer before. Not a game changer for me, but could be for others.Pros:- Cheap- Good Quality Cable- Extra LengthCons:- No Installation Manual

The SATA cable that wasn't
I ordered this cable based on the description and on the picture included with the Amazon add.The cable is listed as a "right angle",and the picture shows a "right angle" connector on one end.The cable I received was a "left angle" connector, resulting in the cable leading downward into the bottom of the computer case. I immediately e-mailed the supplier regarding the wrong cable. They immediately responded with an apology, and the statement "a new cable is in the mail". In a couple of days the "right angle" cable was received , installed and working correctly; top-notch customer service! The main reason for this review is an attempt to clarify the need for a "right", or "left angle" connector; there seems to be a lot of confusion of what to order; ofcourse, it's still a problem if the product descriptor is correct, but the product received is incorrect, as in my case.Hard drives can be mounted in a number of different configurations in the chassis. The specific orientation of your drive, (hard or other wise) needs to be considered prior to ordering a specific SATA cable with the necessary connectors. As an example, my two hard drive bays (Dell XPS430 desk-top) are mounted cross-wise, at the bottom of the chassis. Additionally, they are mounted upside down, if you accept that the the metal cover with the labeling is the "top" of the drive, and conversely you define the exposed PC board as the bottom; so in my case the PC board (which has the SATA connectors attached directly to it) is on top.An on-line search will define a "right angle" connector as one that when attached, will result in the cable immediately leading away from the drive; in my case, with the drive mounted upside down at the bottom of the chassis, the cable leads upward, to the SATA connectors on the "mother board".If the drives were mounted with the top up (steel cover up), and mounted at the bottom of the chassis, a "left angle" connector would have been required. The "left angle" connector always leads across the end of the drives body. In my case, the "left angle" connector resulted in the cable being directed into the bottom of the CPU's case. The replacement cable I received, which is the correct "right angle" SATA cable, was ASIN: B000XQOLN8; SKU: LK-135213 and, Model: CB-SATD41-S1.

These are very good quality cables for the money!
Well actually, I am Gary, Dee's husband..... I'm the computer Geek in the family and bought these to use on her new computer. These are easily seen as possibly being just cheap junk since they have a reasonable price. Wrong. These are as good a quality as I have seen any where else I have bought them or received in my mobo kits. I bought 5 of them, and am glad I did since most of the time all you get are the straight connectors, and so much of the time a 90* bend is much better and less likely to be bumped or dislodged.Yes, now that I have them I certainly would buy them again if I need more. Enjoy the low cost with confidence.

I can hook up my TB drive now :D
I am entirely happy with my purchase of this cable. Amazon, yet again, has been the retail stores in price! The cable arrived with no problems in shipping or packaging, and after some work installing my new "green" TB drive, I hooked up the cable to it and the motherboard, and it works great. No issues. The right-angle connection actually turned convenient for me, even though I didn't realize it had one (I continuously misread product descriptions, but have been lucky, lol). Will continue to recommend people to come to Amazon for their cabling needs.

This low priced cable is long enough to connect any devices in PC.
I wanted and bought this cable to connect a HDD and mother b'd.It's long enough to connect any devices inside the desktop PC.The delivery was by USPS, and really quick and earlier than the first day of estimated delivery date. It's working without any problem.Very low price with the Free Shipping... Even though Not the Best Price in Amazon.

Just OK - go with alternative
The cable itself is good quality and works fine. However, potential buyers should take note, as one of the prior reviews points out (I wish I had seen it before purchasing) - the right angle connector is upside down. The notch forces you to route the cable from the other direction, opposite of what everyone would expect. This means it may not allow you to use what your case provides for securing cables (definitely with Dell cases). I don't understand why a manufacturer would do this.Since SATA cables are commodity items, I'd recommend going with some other.

Just what I needed for my SSD
My motherboard came with similar cables except they had a little metal piece on them to "click" it in place and attach it to your drive. This did not work for my SSD but this cable did the trick! It doesn't have the little metal attachment piece on the ends and it fit very snuggly on to my drive.I have to admit I thought it was straight on both ends and I didn't think it would work but it worked great.
