Work pretty good. Could be better
For their cost it's hard to complain, but the biggest issue is the fabric gets pulled off and extremely difficult to put back on

Great headphone, great price!
So, I needed to purchase 2 new headphones for our minivan, since the ones we had where being held together by duct tape. I tried the dealership and discovered they were $65 dollars each...Whew is right!!! So it was "Amazon" to the rescue, as usual, when I need to find good model comparisons and reviews from the common folk, to help guide me to a good purchase. The price of these was unbeatable! I could get pink for my girl (age 5) and blue for my boy (age 7)...NO FIGHTING, that's right! The price was great and after reading the couple of reviews that said they just put batteries in them, turned them on, and they worked, I said "Great, just what I need!" And guess what... those reviewers were right and my life in the car is now bliss! Thank you reviewers for your opinion! Now, I am not sure how long they will hold up, but we've had them a month already which means they've already gotten the rough and tough kid review accomplished! I think they'll be just fine and worst case, I didn't break the bank to get them! As for the negative reviewer that stated you need a transmitter, well not if you already have and IR(infra-red) dvd system in your car. However, when I googled headphones for my vehicle I did discover that a model year previous to mine was a slightly different type and required a different type of headphone, so perhaps this was his problem. I would definitely research your vehicle's DVD system compatibility to make sure you are getting the right kind. All that having been said, I am very pleased with my purchase and would gladly recommend it to anyone needing a quick, easy, reliable and economical headphone for the car.

Works great, a few minor flaws
Pros:1. Good sound2. Has volume control3. Auto shutoff helps save batteries4. Has wired option5. Fits 5 year old's head just fine6. Works with car's IR transmitter flawlessly7. Good battery lifeCons:1. Plastic cover for the battery compartment pops off very easily2. Ear pads don't stay locked in position (when closed)SummaryThis replaced the original headphones that came with the car's DVD system. They work great, have decent sound, and most importantly, fit a kid's head. It also can stretch to fit my giant adult sized watermelon head, so the headphone has a wide range. So far, it has lasted many roadtrips and as much abuse as you can think a 5 year old can dish out on headphones. The only gripe is that the battery compartment cover pops off easily, resulting in batteries being lost. This was easily fixed with some electrical tape, but annoying, nevertheless. So far battery life is pretty good; I've only changed them out once in the past 4 months. The best thing about these headphones is that you can buy a male-male audio cable and these wireless headphones can be plugged into whatever handheld gaming device your kid has. So, if they don't want to watch the DVD, they can plug the headphones into their handheld electrical device du jour and listen to that racket through their headphones. End result: the Mrs and I can listen to what we want, the kiddo can listen to what he wants. Makes for happy road trips. Although it still hasn't eliminated him asking "How much longer?"

Easily Breakable
We purchased these for my daughter to use in my 2018 Honda Odyssey for the DVD system. She had them for about ten minutes before the cushion portion of the ear piece came off entirely. We have had to glue both back on since purchasing, but for the price they serve their purpose.

You can't go wrong
This is an amazing item for the price. I use it in my van and purchased different colors so I could know which kid wasn't packing their headphones away after movie time. Much better option than having to buy the car manufacturer product.

Poor quality
In less than a month the padded foams have broken off and you cannot reattach them. The IR won't work more than 12-18" away from the monitor, all you get is static. Really disappointed in them. I wish I was still in my return window 🙄

Does the job
These headphones are great for my 2016 Honda Pilot. The only downfall is they require batteries, they are not rechargeable but no biggie, still great headphones. They don’t require any setup either, they automatically connect.

Mostly happy with this product but...
...it's easy for the kids to pull the ear pads off and it looked near impossible to put/fit them back on until I figured out the trick...you pull off the top white disk to fit the pads around and make sure you snap the two sticky-outy things in the right holes. These headphones are comfortable and nice looking. I also read the reviews about hard to figure out where the batteries go so try each side of the ear phones part (where the blue is) to see which one slides off.I do have one complaint. We purchased three of these. At least one of them get bad reception in the front of the minivan...static. I know one is not supposed to watch a movie in the front seat but sometimes I listen to see if the previews are over and I have to push play on the remote, if the DVD is scratch and skipping, or where the movie is at (beginning, middle or end). So the earphones don't work that great from the front passenger seat.OH, also one reviewer said that the volume at its highest isn't very loud. That's true. Maybe it's a protective measure for our children's ears.

Stop looking!
Legit. These headphones are the Beats of kid IR headphones. Even the packaging is easy to open, I didn't need the jaws of life to get into them! The slide piece over the batteries is a bit hard to get off-but I appreciate that, I'm not finding batteries lying around my car, and getting pieces of headphones everywhere. My savages-I mean loving children have not broken them, and one of them is a two year old, so I feel like he has tried to damage them. For the price compared to the dealership ($99 each! WTF is that about?!) I don't even care if they do manage to break them, well I do...but these are a bit easier to replace that the others. They are super sturdy yet the kids are able to fold them up with ease. The sound? Amazing. I have zero complaints, not a one. Going to be ordering spares.

Fold flat design is perfect for backseat storage
After having dealt with big clunky headphones that didn't fold flat, these are a blessing. I'm training our kids to store them neatly in the seat pockets when they aren't being used. That wasn't possible with the design of the previous sets we bought on Amazon. These seem durable enough, are lightweight, and are similar in quality to any other similarly priced set of headphones you'd buy in a store. The power button is a simple press on, press off deal. I haven't tried them, but my kids are certainly happier with them. And if they're quiet watching a movie, I'm happy, too!

Works. Dodge caravan 2011 - no setup
These fit my 4 and 2 year old kids great. It's super padded and good for their heads. There a little bit if static but comes and goes. Not enough for then to complain. The headphones ear pieces turn inward to lay flat but do not bend or are flexible for storage.I have a dodge caravan 2011 and not setup was needed. Just hooked up by itself. Which makes me think if anything else around might pick up to.Guess we will see. Just got these.

Good price, medium quality
Overall the unit has made my driving trips where I don't want to gauge out my eyeballs from screaming kids. The kids want to go for drives now. The battery life is amazing on these units. I have had one set of batteries last over 6 weeks now.The ear pieces on both of my units come off quite easily. They snap back in, but it is annoying. The headphones hold the test of a 3 year old temper tantrum throwing them to the front and hitting the car windshield, and hold the test of yogurt being spilled all over them. They still work great. The size is great for my 5 year old daughter, just barely makes it for my 3 year old daughter. The headsets are very simple to operate, so easy a 3 year old can figure it out. I will purchase again for sure.

Best IR Headphones Available.
We have tried a few brands and they were terrible. So much static, would fall off the kids heads, when the car turned off they would become deafening static. They were awful (OUKU 2 Pack of Two and Autotain Cloud, don't buy).I had low hopes for these, and was very surprised of the quality, especially for the price. Don't hesitate to buy! Very happy with this purchase, as our my children!*We have a Honda Odyssey with an aftermarket DVD player.
