I had an almost flat 12v car battery after an interior light had been left on overnight. Certainly not enough charge to turn over the engine.I ordered this unit as it was inexpensive and seemed adequate for an overnight charge.Very easy to use. Connect to the battery then plug in. It seemed to default to the standard charge mode.Worked perfectly. I put my (48Ah) battery on charge in the evening and it was fully charged by morning. There's a nice charge level indicator.Charger runs reassuringly cool and quietly with its fan, but "silent" it is not!

It’s a really good tool , help me to fix my car. I wasn’t sure if it was battery problems or something else . For the price was cheapest than go to a mechanic and it fix the issue in an hour . I’m very happy with this purchase.

Having got past the initial panicky stage of connecting it to the car battery/car chassis, the charger was activated & involved a repetitive scrolling up - the instructions said the scrolling would eventually peak - however in our case this did not happen & we ended up by having to replace the car battery for a new one.So, it seems that when the car battery (in our case 2 years old) fails to start the car engine it may be that a ‘jump start’ would have been a better buy - but I still had to replace the car battery…….I have now got home breakdown cover…..

worked first time, lead length not great but not a problem if you have a suitable extension. Build quality average for these things, but quite small essentially a value product. Has a warning for reversal of polarity
