These rods don't come with much deburring, so you might have to take some grit to them for a few minutes to get 8mm ID things to fit on them. Diameter seems to be fairly consistent across, although these are only 100mm long.

Much harder steel then I needed. File skates off without leaving a mark. Thought was a more easily worked steel. I'll find another use. Very high quality product.

I have good luck with uxcell products! Good tools and always received quickly. They hold up to craft & handyman use and are accurate within reason for somewhat precise work. I never hesitate when I see it’s uxcell!

I went to test these with some 8mm bearings, which measured perfectly at 8.0mm inner diameter. Neither of these steel bars would snugly fit. After measuring them, they were 7.8mm and 7.7mm diameter respectively. I can't speak to whether they're all this inconsistent but this is what I got on my first order.

the two i got were not actually straight, but for the price i can’t really be that mad.

I need these as headboard bedpost pins that the side rail brackets of a bed clip into. The existing pins are short, very short and broke through the small vertical groove in the bedpost on the bed when the side rail broke in half due to kids horseplay, impossible to blue that tiny area so am going to run this pin almost completely through the 3.5 inch post in the existing hole.
