I bought this book primarily because of its excellent plan for a Greene & Greene sconce that was created for the famous Gamble House in Pasadena. However, there are other wonderful plans that are well illustrated, full color pix, detailed drawings and projects that are not large. I recommned the book highly.

I bought this title just for the plans of the clock pictured on the cover. there is another clock featured also, an updated Arts & Crafts styled shelf clock. The clock on the cover is a sold period correct plan. The author calls this a "Irish country clock" but it is undoubtably a German Box clock. Most likely by Jughans.The other projects in the book are very nice and I may make a few of the boxes it contains.Well worth the money spent.

bought this item for my husband for his birthday. He has his own little woodshop in the garage and this has given him lots of hints. He really enjoys this book.

Good book with good picture directions. I would like to have seen some mission cocks but the book was very scare in this area

This ought to keep me busy this winter.

this book was just what I was looking for in regards to the contents. Would recommend it to anyone who enjoys woodwork

Un livre fait par des pros, mais pas pour tout le monde.Un livre consistant, avec de très beaux modèles, mais le secret est surtout dans les finitions. Il me semble qu'il y a beaucoup de machines à utiliser pour faire les assemblages (qui sont en majorité en queue d'aronde, donc il faut un gabarit(qui est cher),une scie circulaire, une tour de perçage. On voit sur les photos que les modèles sont fait par un professionnel.Mais des modèles très beaux .Les horloges, sont un chef d'oeuvre, et les cadres photos, magnifiques.Il y a une lampe de table avec des rainures faites avec la fraise, de toute beauté.Mais il y a davantage de modèles comme un coffre à bijoux ou un autre à stylos qui laisent rêveur......Mais je pense que l'on peut aussi couper avec la scie sauteuse et les assemblages avec des lamelles ou des tourillons, pour peu que l'on ait l'habitude du travail du bois.Le ponçage, le vernissage ont aussi une place de choix dans la réalisation de chaque pièce, car les modèles finis sont parfaits.Un livre pour des réalisations professionnelles..
