20 Needle Riffler Files Perfect Model Building Tools

These Rifflers are well made and perform equally well. Any carver who does fine detail work would appreciate these tools.

I spent years trying to find a reasonably priced set of fine cut needle rifflers back in the early 2000s and failed miserably. There were very few manufacturers and even fewer retailers for them back then and prices were exorbitant. I made do without them at the time and have had zero need for them for the last few years until I suddenly found myself in immediate need of a set. I was surprised to find that they were suddenly widely available and priced reasonably and grabbed this set simply because it also came with a set of standard needle files (you can never have enough needle files, trust me). All in all these are well made rifflers that work well on softer materials like plastic and work great on PLA and resin printed parts. The only drawback is that they are only toothed on the convex side, the concave side is completely smooth. While this isn't an issue when it comes to my needs it does highly limit their usefulness in certain applications and should be noted.Overall very pleased with this purchase.

Yep they are as Nice and Useful as they look. Worth every Penny.

The ones that are good are great, the ones that aren't good are nearly useless.There are more good than bad but some clusters of similar all have problems, so it leaves larger gaps than you might expect in functionalityIf you need a cheap set of half decent needle files, but don't have specific narrow use cases that make certain types of files or riffles necessary these are perfect. And I would argue that is probably the majority of users.

Good set for the price, teeth are cut kinda poorly but they do work. You could pay more and get a better set, but these were good enough for me and what I needed them for, which was cleaning up glue squeeze out on interior corners after it's dried (oops).

I found these for my husband who is model building. He says they are perfect for his needs. He is working with plastic airplanes.
