Love it! and How to use instructions.
I love expresso, but I don't have the counter space for an electric unit, and I like the taste better of the stovetop units like this one. Other gripes would be the ugly sterile look of those bare metal stove top makers. I didn't paint my kitchen, put on nice pulls and knobs, and get a nice table just so I can bring in a bit of ugly metal to pull out every time I want expresso.I thought this cow design one was cute. It turned out to be even cuter in person. I like that it is big enough to make 4 expressos at once. Like all stovetop units, it is easy to clean and works quickly. It doesn't come with instructions, so here's the instructions:You need the expresso maker, water, medium grind coffee, and a stove.Unscrew the bottom of the pot from the top.Take the little cup out - it is where the coffee grounds will go.Put the water in the bottom part, but do not fill it beyond the bottom of the brass vent (it will be the only brass thing, so up to but not on top of that brass thing).Put coffee in the little cup that is in the middle. Do not press the coffee or pack it in.Put the entire pot on the stove on high heat. When it makes a loud spitting or hissing sound, take it off the heat, and pour it into a cup. Please do not open the top while the coffee is on the stove. It is really cool to see the twin flows of expresso come out, but that spitting hissing sound is the end of the coffee, and it will burn you. Go to youtube and just watch a video of what is going on in the pot. Don't touch! Leave the lid alone! To clean it, let it cool, compost your grounds, and clean the pot with a dish rag and some detergent. Dry it right away, and once you are sure it is dry you can put it back together again.
