Silvervine Powder

My cats go bonkers over this Silvervine! We have had this for almost a year now and the powered has not weaken or gone sour. Highly recommended

So before you buy this, just know that cats only have about a 60% chance of reacting to catnip. They have to be genetically predisposed to it and they have about an 80% chance they’ll be an affected by silver vine. My cat was affected by neither but my neighbor’s cat went crazy for this stuff so if your cat is sensitive, it’ll work and then some apparently

My cats absolutely love this stuff. It’s more potent than normal catnip and a lot less of a mess to deal with afterwards!

I have 2 senior cats who have never liked catnip. I heard about silvervine and I wanted to give an organic powder a shot. My cats seem to really like this powder! I sprinkle a little bit on a toy or a paper towel and they will roll in it and it seems to make them really happy. Pros: Seems to really work, you get a LOT for your money, and it can be used to bond with your cat (I use it when I want to brush them, they’re long haired and sometimes brushing is a chore, so this makes the experience better for me and them). Cons: As other reviews mentioned the packaging isn’t great, it spills really easily (imagine baking flour being packed tight into a tiny tin that takes a bit of effort to unscrew) so each time you open it you lose a little bit in the process. Overall 4/5 stars! Will be buying again in the future. But that won’t be for a while because you get so much product!

I’ve tried several different varieties of catnip with my cat and this is - hands down - her favorite brand. She wouldn’t even go near some of the more widely distributed / available in-store options. She loves the powdered consistency and it turns out - she’s a silvervine girl. I’ve also gifted this brand to friends with cats (the regular catnip / regular consistency) and they’ve continued to buy it. My cat has IBD and I’ve also noticed she also tends to gravitate toward this if her stomach is feeling a little off. Just food for thought. It can be a little messy given that it’s finely ground into a powder but it’s honestly a very small “drawback” if you can even call it that. We are big fans.

Received on time and packaged well for shipping. However, I'm unable to open the container. It's too tightly closed.

That cat LOVES when I sprinkle this around where she plays. She's a Bengal and barely needs to be encouraged to be crazy. This ground silvervine helps her run herself out during the play session. My other cat doesn't get so crazy as he does with the nip. He a lot nicer when he plays with silvervine. He will destroy feather toys when he's on the nip. He'll lick the powder off my finger then run around and get wild. My cats love this product. I highly recommend it if you cat isn't a fan of catnip.

A little pinch goes a long way! One of my cats doesn't like catnip but loves this stuff! I love it's in a tin and stays fresh. Just be cautious opening it. First time I did, I spilled a little but there wasn't any complaints from the cat. I swear I saw him smile he was so high. Will be buying as needed.

My cats wouldn't touch it.
