Everybody asks me “why do you need a Throttle Boss with cruise control”? I don’t over-use cruise control. Once you are on a fast road and settled in with the road pegs out and a good playlist up and running then, and only then, is it time for cruise control. Prior to that, while you are merging and getting into the short runs in a busier version of traffic, the Throttle Boss allows you to work your speed by using the palm of your hand to adjust your speed while releasing your grip a bit. It’s all about options and I use it more than I thought I would. I am looking forward to some long rides where I can use it to its fullest capability. Not expensive; installs quickly and easily; and it works great.

I have a smaller Kuryakyn throttle boss on my Honda VTX 1300 and never realized what I was missing with this larger model. First off, it fits perfectly on the clamshell grips designed to go over the stock heated grips on my 2012 Gl1800. Second, the Kuryakyn bar weights tie into the whole solution with ease. Third, this throttle boss has about 1/2 inch of play so you can get the position just right for your individual hand. Lastly, the size, gentle swoop, and rubber comfort pad are all amazing when wearing full gloves, fingerless gloves, or no gloves at all. I am literally thrilled with this product in every way.

Works as it should, small enough to be out of the way, large enough to comfortably utilize.

My hands tend to go numb easily, have cruise control for higher speeds but this really helps around town. Nice addition to my bike.

Love being able to rest the heel of my hand on it to twist the throttle. Really helpful on long rides
