The AT-EAR-1001 by Airwave Technologies is a wireless in-ear monitoring system with outstanding sound characteristics. A corrected frequency response ensures optimal adaptation to auditory requirements. The AT-EAR-1001 features 160 possible frequencies, permitting 10 systems to be operated in parallel without intermodulation. A limiter at the input prevents distortion even with an overload of +12 dB, providing optimal hearing protection. Both mono and stereo operation are possible, making the system very flexible and suitable for many applications such as live acts, theatre and voice. Both the transmitter and the receiver have a clearly arranged multifunctional display, which indicates all operating states. The sender also has a headphone output which allows monitoring at the sender side. Optimized power management ensures a long battery life without replacement. High-quality earphones for the receiver are included.

Don't waist your money
I purchased these in ear monitors for a video shoot and for live performance. They were terrible! I normally use the Shure PSM 200's which are great but about $250 more than these... I needed an extra pair so I just bought these thinking that there might be a little static but I could at least hear everything... NOPE the static was so bad that I could barely hear anything and they weren't even loud enough to drown out live music like drums and guitars. All I could hear was an ear shattering distorted click track. (my band plays with a click track) After 15 minutes of trying to figure out how to get the static to go away I gave up. I seriously wanted to punch myself in the eyes. Trust me when I tell you this... Wait for a few more paychecks and go buy the Shure PSM 200's. You'll thanks me later.

These are the best inexpensive system on the market....
I don't know what was wrong with the other reviewer's system that he had, but either something was set up wrong or his system was defective. I have used these many times in a LOT of permanent installations (both this Airwave system and the Galaxy Audio one that looks like this, it's the same system with a different name on it), and I have never had a customer complaint, ever. Are they as nice as the Shure systems... probably not, but they cost $200 less per system, too. One note, the headphones that come with these seem very strong in the midrange to me, and a little soft on the high end, but that would be my only con. Frankly, most people end up using their own favorite headphones with them anyway, so it's mostly a non-issue. I have used a lot of different in ear systems over the years, being a professional installer, and frankly, what's said of most inexpensive systems is true, you simply shouldn't bother. The Airwave Technologies system works very well for it's price and is my minimum starting point when a customer asks me for wireless in ears. I haven't had good luck with anything less expensive than these, but these have been surprisingly good.
