Didn't work on my acne but works wonders to repel insects
I have been experiencing cystic acne and regular acne for a few years now. The chemical treatments at the dermatologists cause more harm to my healthy skin so I decided to look for a natural remedy. This did not work for me in any way. I tired it directly on my skin several times as per the directions and I used this nightly mixed with sweet almond oil nightly for weeks. There were no changes whatsoever to my acne.I'm giving this oil 3 stars since it seems to work on the little bugs in the soil of my house plants. I've been putting a few drops on the soil before watering and the little buggers fly out and I have seen less of them. I may buy Neem oil again for my natural insecticide but never for my face.

Great oil for acne rosacea
My daughter has severe acne rosacea and we have been using neem oil and it works wonders. Wondercide Natural Products has fantastic neem products for humans and your pets. The neem bar soap worked immediately on her acne rosacea. The reason neem works so well is because it kills off the Demodex mites that live on our skin. People who have acne rosacea have more of these microscopic Demodex mites than the average person without acne rosacea. Just be careful because my daughter used too much and caused a allergic reaction. We bought this organic neem oil and add a drop or two to her cleanser and her face lotion. If you can handle a lot of neem, Wondercide's renovate soap bar was amazing on her acne rosacea but was too much neem for my daughter. The renovate bar has neem oil, neem leaf juice and need bark. The Repel bar has less neem. The combination of the neem and rosehip oil has been working great. I would try the renovate bar first and do a test spot first to make sure you don't have a reaction. (Read about neem allergic reactions online first.) The repel soap has been getting rid of mites on my pet too but my small dog also had a reaction to the renovate bar because of too much neem.I read an article about a year ago regarding the Demodex mites pertaining to acne rosacea and that they "could" be the cause of acne rosacea. Very short article but didn't say what would kill the mites. My dog got mites so I found this Wondercide's soap bar for him but when I read it help to get rid of mites then it clicked in my brain back to that article. So that's when I tested the renovate bar on my daughter's back acne it was IMMEDIATE results. Red marks diminshed. So she tried it on her face and her rosacea went away immediately. So now we are figuring out just how much neem my daughter can handle because she is so sensitive. My husband has skin issues and uses it in the shower with no allergic reactions. Also, I read the mites feed off of yeast (candida) in the body which is caused by sugar, HFC, processed foods, stress, etc. which causes inflammation in the body. Acne rosacea are inflammatory diseases. Also neem gets rid of fungus too. The American Frankendiet is causing horrible inflammation in our bodies because of yeast and fungus which is affecting our gut bacteria and our brains. Inflammatory diseases are on the rise. Good Luck!

To be honest I can't say if this product works ...
To be honest I can't say if this product works or not because I could not handle the smell. I gave it away to a friend who has lost his sense of smell. I'll have to ask him how he likes it.

Wonderful oil.
I purchased this neem oil last week to use in my skin care regime and for my 12 year old daughters acne.I added it to a bowl of melted coconut oil, white tea and lavender raspberry tea (to help mask the scent). I applied it to dry unwashed hair and the result was amazing!I have semi fine hair that I only cut about twice a year, but my hair looks like I just had a hot wax treatment and fresh cut from a salon. I left it in for about 40 minutes. For my face I mixed the oil with coconut oil, white tea, honey and I opened one of my probiotics capsules and added that as well. The mixture is kind of watery so I applied it with a brush that came with my face mask accessories kit.I left that on my face while I took a bath in Epsom salt and sweet almond oil with the other mixture in my hair. After 40 minutes I used exfoliating gloves (from the dollar store) and rubbed my entire body. By the end, my bath water was a murky gray from all of the dead and dying skin being removed.I washed up in the shower, washed my hair (twice), and applied coconut oil to my damp body.I felt amazing. I should probably mention that I took some spirulina that morning as well as some oil pulling with coconut oil.Anyway, when my hair dried (air dried) it was so soft and silky. No split ends or flyaways and it was super shiny. Before the neem oil treatment I would scratch my head and my fingers nails would come away with white under the nails, but not so after the treatment!Oh, and I didn't see any immediate improvement in my adult acne but it did make my pores shrink a little. I'm hoping over time it will help with the acne scarring on my chin.And.. While in my amazing bath I applied the used white bags to my eyes (white tea is high in caffeine and antioxidants) and I visibly seen a difference in the fine lines as well as felt the tightness.Anyway, that was my experience and it seems well worth the money and time.Enjoy!

My bad review is mainly for the smell
My bad review is mainly for the smell. The reviews I read and the description really do not tell you how bad this oil really stinks. I am sure it works, but I am not willing to put up with the smell.

Eczema eliminator!
I was having severe eczema problems on the palms of my hands. Nothing was helping it, and I read somewhere that neem oil can help the symptoms of eczema, so I decided to give it a try. When the package arrived, and I opened it up and put a drop of the oil on my hand, the stench offended my nose immediately. This stuff SMELLS. I would describe it as a mixture of rubber and burnt peanuts blended together into smell. I decided to use the oil anyway, because I would rather have my skin problem treated. Even after one day of using the oil (very small amounts rubbed in well), I could see the change in my skin. The redness was going down, the itching was reduced, and my skin was hydrated. After about two weeks of continual use (twice a day, once in the morning, once at night) my eczema is GONE. Previously, my skin was so thick and callused, but now it is smooth, hydrated, and healthy. I cannot rave about this oil enough. If you have eczema, PLEASE use this, it will change your life. A bit of stink is worth the ultimate results.
