I first ordered these batteries in May to help save money on my kids’ battery needs. In particular, my oldest child still sleeps with his sound machine from childhood. Several years back, they discontinued the machine and the cord shorted out. The only option keeping us a float right now was (4) AA batteries. Of course, he would leave it on after waking up and so normal batteries would last for a couple of days at most. Like you are doing now, I started searching Amazon for rechargeable options. I found the Powerowl brand and was instantly turned on to all the positive reviews. Also, they were on sale! After purchasing, I found them very easy to use. A month or so later, I returned and bought more AA batteries (without the 2nd charger). We’ve had zero issues with them until recently. I noticed that several of the batteries were discharging too quickly and when attempting to charge, were showing fully charged even though a multimeter confirmed they were not. I reached out to support and was THRILLED with their support. After explaining my situation to Whitney in their customer support area, she was super quick to respond back with a solution. These are really top quality batteries with a good quality charger. Only problem is the usb cord is too short if you are putting on a table. It works on a countertop. But there is no plug for the wall.

Rechargeable batteries are a bigger initial investment because you have to buy the charger and the batteries cost more but the batteries last longer and are reusable. I use the batteries in my photography devices and a few remotes. Since purchasing the charger and batteries I have not needed to buy batteries again. I keep a set in the charger, so if a set goes dead during use, I can quickly grab another.

I have had this product 6 months, but only use it on the rare occasion when we are charging the kids batteries for their games when we go on trips. It worked great the first time. The second time the charging port needed to be placed a certain way or it kept kicking off. Went to plug it in today for the third time and the charging port on the battery charger fell out and down into the battery charger so there is absolutely no contact at all now with the cord. I was the only one that used it so there was no being rough with it from kids and such. It sat on my nightstand when not in use and got plugged into the wall the 3 times i tried to use it. Now it's trash and I'll have to find something else. Spend your money elsewhere on something that may last longer than less than a handful of times! I loved the idea that I could take this with me on trips and charge them in the car when needed, but sadly it didn't even last that long!! 😕 Update........The seller did reach out after my initial review and asked for pictures of the where the charging port fell out. They sent me a new charger which I just received. I'm hopeful that this one will last longer than the initial one!! I am also grateful for the excellent customer service, and a seller that stands behind their product!! 😊

The quality of the charger is excellent. It is very fast a charging the AA batteries. The batteries are also of very excellent quality.

I’ve had these batteries now for a few months. They haven’t lost there charge and still a pretty good charge time on them. I need this for Tripple A’s as well now

Needed lithium batteries for our Blink camera system. They can get expensive (especially when idiot wasps keep setting them off every 10 seconds) so was hoping these would fit the bill. Pleasantly surprised so far. Read that batteries take up to 10 hours to charge, which turned out to be FALSE! The entire pack was fully charged in less than 4 hours. Curious how long they'll last, fingers crossed.

Update 11/2025: the Seller was helpful and making it right. Shipped out a new set and took time for me to try them and monitor it. I am pleased that 2nd time around. 💬💬💬💬 This does not hold a good charge at all... literally within 24-48 hours and I'm back to trying to charge it again.

Edit: I received a new set of AA batteries and charged them last night. All lights were green this morning. Normally, I would have some flashing red. Let’s hope that this set of batteries hold a charge. The customer service was good though. Thank you, Whitney. I purchased both the AA and the AAA charging packages and these batteries do not hold charge either. I got a bad batch of AA’s especially or this is just a really bad product. When charging them the lights kept changing which ones were charged, even though I had run them overnight for charge. The charger couldn’t decide which ones were bad or not. I tested with a battery tester and many of them were just at zero. They wouldn’t even show a voltage even though they had charged overnight. These are brand new so they haven’t gotten dirty or the charging contacts are not dirty either. I tried to contact the company or find a way to and there were no links within the power all or get product. Support wouldn’t help me at all. It just took me to some FAQs, but no contact information to resolve the issue with the company before writing a bad review. To the company: if you want to contact me, please do and I will take down the review if you resolve the issues for both the AA and the triple AAA’s. The AAA’s are a little better, but they still don’t hold charge. I do not recommend any of their batteries.
