Kirker Hot Rod Black Acrylic Urethane Paint Kit

This is the second name brand hot rod black i have used. The other was 90$ per quart and the two sprayed and looked exactly the same when dry. I didnt give 5 stars because i have not had it long enough to test how it ages. The other paint was considered matte black but the two matched exactly. For the price i wish i would have tried this first. These paints are a little thicker to spray and you cant touch up after an are has dried without it being noticeable, so it can be kind of unforgiving.

Quanity in item description is misleading the kit did not include the amount described on the website it contained one gallon less than described .

Applied over sealer streaked cornrows tryed diff reducers,and air pressure could not get it to flow smooth, may have used to small of tip on spray gun. Made a good surface to repaint.

Would not buy again. Stuff is very difficult to shoot and it takes an enormous amount of product before it starts to lay and finish evenly. Do NOT buy this!

Love this stuff but you really have to be a painter to do it right. Won't know the results till it drys. Follow instructions to a tee that's why they are on can

used it on my street rod and it came out GREAT! would do it again using the same paint by kirker.

This is a great value, flows nice with the recommended 10% reduction.
