We used this to help our pet rat heal up after surgery and it's made a huge difference.It is difficult to get it to stay on, the trick seems to be to warming it up and working it with your fingers first.

Just what I needed

My dog was bitten by an insect in the summer and has a stubborn black scab which will just not heal. He can't wear a dressing because of where it is, but the vet was not too concerned when he saw it , it does not bother my dog at all, but I presumed it was getting caught on his harness strap because it flares up and bleeds again, not allowing it to heal properly. I recently changed his harness thinking that would help but my dog is an escape artist and he can slip any other harness but his usual one. It has become a viscous circle.The vet did not think the problem was serious at all but before taking him back for the vet to remove the scab and clean it up again ,( he said it was too small to take a sample of it for tests) , I thought I would give this a try.After two days the dry black scab has softened enough to be gently removed to apply the vet's medication, and already the site is clearer and the new scab is softer, lighter in colour and much smaller.I will continue to use the gel hoping to avoid yet another vet trip but so far it looks as if it might just do the trick.I have ordered another pack today . Fingers crossed that finally the black scab will go.If it finally goes for good, I will upgrade this review to a 5 star and will be delighted.

Wonderful for those nasty little cuts and grazed that are hard to heal. Everyone should have this, I found out about it when vet gave me it for my dog after an operation but it’s been used often by me for my own hands with paper cuts - amazing!

Bought the gel for wound on my dogs tail clearing up nicely. Conveniently packaged for ease to use good stuff.

I have awful ingrown toenail problems and when one is bad and infected a pop and tiny amount and a plaster over it. Sorted in a day. Well worth the money
