Connect Cycles Bike, 16-Inch

I bought the bike to make learning to ride a bike as easy as possible for my son. By being attached to my bike he gained a feeling for riding a bike, peddling and how to operate the coaster brake. I really love the bike and the principal design although when peddling uphill I sometimes wish the bike would be a little lighter.What really impressed me is the company's costumer service. On the last night before the movers came to pack our stuff into a big container my men's bike was stolen from the garage. Consequently the part mounted at the seat post where the tow bar connects was gone as well. After an inquiry at [email protected] about the respective spare part I got a response within minutes with ordering information. But it got even better. The next day I received from a call from the company. They wanted to double check that we were both thinking of the same part. And as they felt sorry for me and the stolen bike they promised to send it out for free. Just two days later I received the part. Outstanding!

I'm fairly handy, and this was a pain to put together. it would be easy if it had the correct bolts and nuts, but the four bolts that held the handlebar together were too short, and the bolt head was circular and flat, so it was impossible to tighten the handlebar. also, the attachment on the front column needs to be tightened extremely well, otherwise the weight of the child will cause the front wheel to touch the ground. Once you get it assembled, it works as advertised.

We had looked at a regular "tag-a-long" bicycle for some time before coming across this product. Instead of having a seperate bicycle and a "tag-a-long" in the garage, this product combines them both very nicely and it works great! My son rides the bike on his own with the training wheels down most of the time, and when it is time for the family to ride around the block (or further) flipping up the training wheels and hooking up to my bike is fast and easy. When we have been out riding, I get a lot of questions about the bike and how it works, each time with people saying the product is a great idea and looks good.

If you don't want to buy a trailer for your kids, just to replace it with kids bike two years later, this is the way to go. We did tones of research trying to find a product like this where you don't have to buy all separate peaces. This product fixes many issues that are inherent with the after market option of adding a pole to a bike.The only issue we have with it is the metal on the pole, where it hooks on the kids bike, is bending. I really want to give this a five star rating, but just can't because of that bending metal peace. Maybe if they manufactured the end of the pole with a stronger metal?There was originally a manufacturing defect with ours, we called the company and they immediately sent us two replacement peaces without hesitation; their customer service was great!I would absolutely buy this again and would recommend it to friends.

This was a great transition for my son this past summer! We all enjoyed bike trips so much more!!!!

Hmm....I don't know, but the last time I checked, aluminum was a non ferrous material. These people are liars, claiming the frame to be alominum. iT IS MAGNETIC! Helloooo....! Would definitely not buy again. Saddle is huge. Disappointing!

This bike really delivered on its promises, and everyone always stops us to ask about it. So much better than buying a separate tow-behind bike! Solidly built and everything fit together as advertised. We will recommend this to all our friends

We love this product. I feel so much safer riding with my nephew to the park. Having him attached to my bike while on busy streets allows us to go often, then when we are at the park I detach his bike so he can ride on his own. I thought it was priced just right.
