Tuning the Human Biofield: Healing with Vibrational Sound Therapy

Excellent book, very rare to find information. Priceless!
It's difficult to make a brief and fair review to such a good book. Learning about author's journey, from somebody sound-challenged to a sound therapist was very inspiring and I found a lot more than I expected. Easy to read, very informative and captivating. If you're interested in this book, here's what I'd like to share:- The book is very well structured and provides detailed instructions for those practice-oriented as well as lots of references and bibliography for those who want more scientific background.- This is the easiest and most effective energy healing method that I've ever seen. I've been trained before into some similar others that are more complicated, more expensive and far less efficient. I've been able to correct easily some health issues half way into the book.- There are some procedures that I haven't seen elsewhere, very effective and easy to integrate in other therapeutic practices (ex. the adrenal rhythm balancing). There's more on author's web site and on youtube, you may want to see that first (google author's name).- The author takes a methodical, scientific approach without getting lost in science or falling into esoteric too much. About half of the book (by pages) is about scientific theories to explain why it could work and half about what she found and how to use it.- The book contains a lot of information from many sources, blended with author's experience in 19+ years, in a clear and useable manner. You will need a tuning fork to work on somebody else (see the author's web site for the kits) and you may need to know a minimum of energy healing if you want to work on yourself (I used Reiki but anything similar will do, maybe e-mail to the author or ask around, it's quite easy). The information can be used with other methods, even without the tuning forks, if you know how.- The book offers a practical way to verify some theories about chakras and biofield/aura. You can say that's not true until you do what it says and feel it. It works regardless of your beliefs.- By "weight" probably the book is 80-90% real stuff about what to do and how to do it. It's so detailed that later I bought the DVD thinking I'm going to learn the method faster. It was true, the DVD helped a lot. But all that information is actually in the book, clearly described by the author without any tricks. All you need to do is just read, understand, then take a tuning fork and do it as described in the book. It's really easy!- I probably can't emphasize enough, but the information in it is priceless, and it's assembled in an easy to use format that you won't find elsewhere for just the price of this book, maybe unless you spend years and thousands of dollars. Half way through this book I unexpectedly found the answer to a chronic health issue that affected me for the last five years, for which I spent before quite a lot of time and money. I applied what I read immediately and that was the permanent fix. Can't say it's all that easy but if a skeptical engineer like me could do it, I think anybody can do it. Just trust yourself, there's nothing to fear and nothing to lose.I would strongly encourage anyone interested to give it a try. You'll be happy you did it.

Early Strains of the New Biofield Medicine
Book ReviewTuning the Human Biofield: Healing with Vibrational Sound Therapy by Eileen Day McKusickI devoured this book, which I discovered by serendipity the day it came out. Instantly, I sensed genius in it and set out to learn more about the author and her work. I have studied and practiced other forms of energy healing: Eden Energy Medicine, Emotional Freedom Technique (energy psychology tapping), past-life therapy, and so on. I have seen the effectiveness of addressing the human energy body (biofield) when seeking physical healing. I had not worked with sound as a vibrational source for healing, nor had I experienced it, and I had never heard of this author. The book first delighted me with Ms. McKusick’s excellent summaries of up-to-the-minute research and theories at the leading edge of the new sciences, without dissolving into the anonymous lingo of academia. She writes in a very personal, personable style, telling her own story of discovery. It seems clear she did not consciously set out to become a pioneer at the forefront of the new energetic medicine; in fact she was busy running a family restaurant, raising two boys, and going back to school to gain the credentials to write the book and speak about her work. But I can see an exciting future for medicine that leads directly from her relatively simple tuning fork methods, and it thrills me. One day we may have fine instrumentation that duplicates what Ms. McKusick can do now with her coherent sound, only many levels beyond in terms of sophistication, and at frequencies far beyond our audible and visible spectrum.I won’t attempt to explain what she does, why, or how in this review. For that, you have the book itself. Tuning the Human Biofield provides sufficient detail for others to try and test her tuning fork method. After working for many years with clients, she has also compiled excellent anecdotal data on the “anatomy” of the human biofield, which spreads out from our bodies like rings on a tree, containing detailed, energetically-inscribed information about everything we have lived thus far. This diagram alone is worth the price of the book. Childhood trauma? It’s there, going back as far as the birth experience. McKusick’s resonating tuning fork will respond audibly to any glitches in the field, but it also puts out a steady, coherent vibration. That steady signal, combined with her trained senses and her client’s memories, can solve the mystery, realign the distorted field, and put the biofield back in order. Lives change as a direct result. Healing ensues immediately. For those in the healing professions, I urge you to explore this new work. For the rest of us, I hope McKusick will be able to train many practitioners to use her “click, drag, and drop” methods of rearranging life-event traumas in the biofield into the sweetly resonating, sleekly operating, singing energies of a coherent life. Read this book if you want to learn how that can happen to you, then go out and seek the leaders in the field who can help you make it happen. ** (Note: I have also written a lengthy blog post about my profound experience with McKusick after I purchased and read her book, and sought her out to experience her knowledge and skills directly.)

Will absolutely change your life for the better
I’d give this book 100 stars if I could. Don’t stop at just reading the book though. Go get a biofield tuning session done. They have a list of certified practitioners on their website. I get that it seems strange, but it works. Keep an open mind and give it a try. It will absolutely change your life for the better.

Fascinating Reading
I purchased this book ahead of receiving my tuning forks so I would be ready to go when they arrive. I know the tuning forks are a wonderful healing modality, and my intention for having them if for myself, I have an injury to my vagus nerve and tuning forks can actually help with that issue and so many others. I am now somewhat patiently waiting for the forks to come from India but I know from reading this book what to do.

Informational, but not impressive as the second book
As it was the first book Eileen wrote , I excuse ,what I consider, shortcomings of it . It was not so informational as I expected it to be ( as I already knew many things it talks about ) , the language used was a bit confusing ... I guess it was hard to put all that research into more comprehensive format . But, her second book is flawless! :) Great information , very nicely written- I am enjoying it very much ! ( this is my personal impression, so you ll have to read the books and see what they do for you ) .

Un buen libro teórico con poca información práctica.
El libro contiene mucha información teórica para respaldar el método terapéutico utilizado por la autora. Sin embargo, la parte práctica es extremadamente breve. Por eso no asigno 5 estrellas.
