NCLEX Drug Guide: 300 Medications You Need to Know for the Exam (Kaplan Test Prep)

Pharm. can be a challenge for nursing students. This is a concise book on core pharmacology content for NCLEX-RN prep. I liked the way the content for flashcards was divided in half on the answer side. Such a simple tool, but I never thought of it before. The tips in the beginning may also sound elementary, but the iteration of sound, sight and semantics is another good learning tool for this subject. The framework of this book focuses on 300 of those drugs most tested in the NCLEX-RN, by category. Finally, it is small enough to easily fit in backpack or pocket, but still readable. An excellent value- worth every penny!

This was a waste of money. This book is riddled with errors. Drugs had incorrect side effects, incorrect controlled schedule designations, etc. Look for a different book to study!

I find this book really helpful. The only thing I don’t really like about this book is that it doesn’t all cardiac classes in the same section. It just goes alphabetical by drug classification and then within each classification it is alphabetical by drug. My only regret is not buying it sooner when I had first started nursing school. Definitely a good pocket sized book and easy to bring on the go.

Pocket size. Simplified, even thought it's still a lot of info, its great for quick reference. I like it also includes the classifications on each page.

It’s an okay product I guess. Bought it to use for my nclex but didn’t even use it to study because it was so much to learn. I just focus on the meds that uworld had on the questions and mark Klimek.I think it will come in handy someday... hopefully
