Remove the inflatable tire. 1. Cut around the red label and pull it off then loosen the two screws below it. 2. Remove the first plastic cover then loosen the other four small screws below it. 3. Turn the scooter over to the other side and repeat the process. You should now be left with one nut embedded deeply into the wheel under a plastic cover that is attached to the wheel support system. 4. Lift the cover slowly to avoid cracking it then loosen the nut below it using a wrench. 5. Remove the nut. The wheel is now loose enough to slide out easily. The motor cable is still attached (to the front wheel) so do not pull it off. Fitting in the solid tire. 1. Add some lubricant on the rim of the wheel. This should manage the amount of friction that will be involved during the fitting. 2. You will need to soften the solid wheel before fitting it: Boil some water to about 100 º C in a pot large enough to fit the tire. Put it in (make sure that it is wholly immersed) then leave it for ten minutes. 3. As an alternative, you can heat the tire in a microwave for three minutes, checking it after every minute. 4. Once the wheel is soft enough, remove it and fit the rim into it. Let it cool for five minutes. 5. Fasten the nut and the other screws (while replacing the plastic cover) on both sides. This is basically the reverse of the initial process of removing the wheel. Also, make sure that you return the red labels. 6. Fill the hole on the wheel with some silicone to avoid entry of dust, stones or water.

Very cool looking. No weird smell...
Arrived promptly and exactly as shown. The tires glow brightly when charged by sunlight or a blacklight charges them up quickly in the dark. The effect doesn't last too long, like 20-30 minutes. Getting the tires on is tough but very doable with determination. I have a smaller microwave so i did five cycles of one minute each. The tire was still cool enough to touch but I had mechanics gloves just in case. I used some grease around the rim and inside of tire and my foot to hold one end on the rim while using the tire iron to wedge the other end onto the rim. I also used a flat screwdriver. The ride has a little more vibration because of the hard tire and the profile of the new tire is flatter so leaning the scooter feels different but you get used to it. No more flats though.

Use common sense
So easy to put on rim. 1 Boil tire 10min2 use tire lever that comes with tires. And two longer flat head screw drivers.3. 3 in 1 machine oil for lube.I spread the Lube around the rim and inside of tireThen I kneel down on top of tire on the rim and use the tire lever and flat-head screwdrivers to Jimmy around the rim and it popped right on
