I have a small hobby farm and these things have been a lifesaver! I can easily switch my hoses from the garden to the animals and back again. They have saved me so much time. They are very heavy duty and have held up well. Sometimes dirt gets in them and makes them not work right, but I just rinse them off and they are good to go. I haven't used them in the winter yet, and I am curious to see how that goes. I am thinking they may freeze up and I will have to warm them up a bit, but I don't see any real issues there. Winter is upon us, so I will update in the spring.

Fits well, easy to connect and disconnect, doesn't leak, nicely machined, seems durable.

First - these work. They’re solid and easy enough to use. As others have mentioned though, they’re backwards. I didn’t understand what others were talking about in their reviews I skimmed before placing my first order but I definitely do now. If you purchase a third party item that comes with free disconnects they won’t work. The complicated, spring loaded piece doesn’t go onto the hose, it goes on the apparatus you’re running. That’s the equivalent of putting the spring loaded air chuck on all of your impact tools with the simple stem part on the hose. Not as practical to me but it gets the job done.They don’t seem to sell the stem part by itself anyway and batches of the pairs are cheap enough so I now have 2 sets to have enough pieces. Anyway, if I had it to do over, I’d have gone with the "standard" type fittings. But since I’ve accidentally started with these, I’ll buy more if I need them. Plus they don’t seem to be very leaky yet.

I use the one end of quick connect on my water filter and the other end to the water hose when setting up my travel trailer at an RV park we'll be staying at while on vacation, rather than twisting both ends together. depending on the parks water pressure there is a chance the connection could leak, since this is something that gets put on and taken off rather than stay permanent it's not 100% leakproof.

I got hooked on using these when I bought this style at my local big box DYI store. Well, they stopped offering all the varieties. Saw these on Amazon. They looked the same but by a different name. Took a chance and bought these. Got them in and they worked. They matched up and no leaks (gaskets were included).Yes, I would recommend them.

Product works great but, it is not the standard size you will find at your local hardware store so does not integrate with previous connectors you may own. If I had know that before I purchased would have gotten something different that would work with my other connectors.

High quality brass quick connectors work great for livestock watering with hoses or gardenng, etc. Easy to connect or disconnect in a second, no screwing on and off of hoses to faucets! Wonderful for winter when hoses need to be taken off and,drained after each tank filling. Have used this type of connection for over 20 years in my horse breeding farm and will never use anything else. No junky plastic here or mystery metal, these are solid brass! Well worth the price.
