Relaxing for the family
We enjoy hidden object games. We had just finished The Malgrave Incident (which we loved) and were looking for more Wii games in that genre. This game is much simpler and less involved which was a nice change from The Malgrave Incident. Some of the objects were hard to find because of the graphics but you can use hints and move on. We just ignored the story line and played the game. It's relaxing and fun to play - great escape.

Not the best HOG
I love HOG games for the stories and graphics and the casual puzzles. This one was well rated and affordable, so I figured it was a good choice. But this turned out to be the type of HOG that I don't really like. There is practically no voice acting and not much effort put into graphics or atmosphere. The puzzles are either the regular HOG, fragmented, or spot the difference. The puzzles are timed, which I am not a fan of, and the scenes are the cluttered nonsensical type with objects strewn about and varying in proportion/size. You can use the pointer as a magnifier but can't zoom in like in other (better) games, and even with a magnifier, the resolution of the objects is pretty bad and hard to distinguish. The biggest flaw is that it is very picky about the pointer location, so even if you see and click the object, if you're off by a pixel, it doesn't count -- and errors are a time penalty. It might work with a mouse on the PC, but it can be tricky to hold the pointer still with the Wii remote, especially within the seemingly minute parameters.I'm sure some people like this type, but it really doesn't seem worth paying a Wii game price for it. You could get a better game for your HOG or adventure/puzzle fix.

Like puzzle games, then you need to try this Wii game.
This Wii game will make you use your brain power. Lots of different kinds of puzzles to figure out. This game isn't for the gamer who wants an extremely hard challenge, though. I enjoyed it because I like puzzle games that let you relax and enjoy it. It's not a game that will keep me up nights searching for a solution.

Odd dialogue, but good game overall.
This game is interesting as it has hidden object scenes along with puzzles of other types. It was kind of annoying that the dialogue was incomplete when characters were talking to one another. Overall I enjoyed it.

Vanishing Files
Great game to play as a group or by your self. I have a 27" TV; so a little too small to find somethings. I have played on a bigger TV and that was great. It's fun to play in a group with everyone looking for things.
