Fixed the problem I had with noisy humidifier valves.
They are well built and worked well to quiet the noise being made when a humidifier water supply valve closed

Awesome Product!!!
Easy to install, low cost, top quality, and it works perfectly!!!! No more slamming noise when the AprilAire humidifier turns off and I mean none!! Should have installed this years ago and every humidifier installed should be sold/installed with one. I installed it 3” upstream from the solenoid valve!

Works Great! Humidifier is now very quiet.
My Aprilaire humidifier has been making the pipes bang with every on and off cycle. This water hammer arrestor works perfectly. Easy install, I only used a tubing cutter and end wrench.

Really fixed the hammering problem with our refrigerator water dispenser
Installation was pretty straightforward if you have basic plumbing experience. Make sure you think ahead and have any extra tubing and compression fittings you need.

For refrigerator ice maker
The media could not be loaded. Installed this on the back of my refrigerator for the ice maker water supply to stop it from rattling and it worked great. Just remember you have to free up the Piston inside before you install it because they get stuck during the manufacturing process. Check out my video on it!

Did not work on my refrigerator.
Did not work on my refrigerator ice maker and water dispenser. It actually made the issue worse by increasing the noise. I returned it. Note: this item may work for other refrigerators, it just didn’t work on mine.

Seems to work
This item was fairly easy to install. It replaced a compression coupler that connected the copper tubing to the plastic tubing. There is still a bit of water hammering between the refrigerator and the hammer arrestor on the plastic tubing, but the hammering doesn't hit the copper tubing anymore and there is no more rattle. Time will tell on the quality of the product.

No More Bang
My new steam humidifier would create a resonate thump whenever the internal water valve would shut off. The humidifier was supplied by a 1/4" copper line. This unit was easy to install and stopped the "thump" (water hammering) immediately.
