2019 Cassette to MP3 Converter USB Cassette Player from Tapes to MP3 Converter for Laptop, PC and Mac Work for Window iOS Convert Walkman Cassettes to Digital Format

This is essentially a "Walkman" type cassette player with a USB port. It comes with the software. However, I downloaded it from the Audacity website to be sure to get the latest edition. If someone is a real audiophile they may not be completely satisfied. But cassettes were never perfect anyway, and I'm happy as long as I can hear what I like. It's very simple to use and does exactly what it's supposed to. It seems to be exactly the same as others going for higher prices. It seems to be a common practice for a Chinese factory to make a product which is then distributed by different companies at different prices and, often, different names. This was the lowest price that I found for this.

The minidisc supplied with this will not work with any MacBook Pro.I returned the product and received a prompt refund.

Advertised as 2019 converter.Not only did the enclosed CD out of date but the converter is an out dated converter. Box says for Microsoft Windows XP/Vista. Ripoff!!

I had a bunch of cassette tapes that I wanted on my iphone. I was able to covert them all to digital with this device. It did exactly what it was supposed to do. I now have all of those old cassette albums on my iphone! There is on caveat: The audacity software package provided does have a bit of a learning curve, but if you stick with it and reference the manual pretty soon you have enough understanding of the software to get the job done.

It seems to work fine. The control buttons are a little clunky, like I recall about cassette tape players back in the 1970's. I would have thought this would have improved over the last 30 years, but maybe not. Curiously, the computer seems to periodically lose its connection to the cassette player. I have to unplug the USB, and restart the software, then it works again. But this could be a problem with the computer (or the software or the USB driver), rather than the product. I haven't investigated that far.

It took a while to get the software to work properly, but I finally did! I recorded one tape on both sides without an issue. The second tape however it won't work correctly. It sounds like the device is dying. I changed the batteries. It'll forward & rewind, but play keeps clicking. :(

listed as working with all all Mac OS but the software is not capatable. Software site say it will not work with newer Mac OS. Disappointing and frustrating.
