Summer Fit - Preschool to Kindergarten: Math, Reading, Writing, Language Arts + Fitness, Nutrition and Values Paperback – Student Edition, January 1, 2012

This is our second year in a row using SummerFit. On an almost daily basis our son requests to do SummerFit work-pages and activities. We love the books because they combine not just academic skills and physical activities, but encompasses family and community values like compassion, health, and dignity, addressed at an age appropriate level. Simple statements and character drawings of people like Gandhi have led to meaningful conversations with my preK son. We like the books so much that we now give them as birthday presents to my son's friends.

I love these books! I used one for my 10 year old this past summer, and it was great. Even though this is meant for summer review, I ordered this for my four year old to supplement our homeschool preschool this fall. The thing I like about these summer fit books is the variety of activities. It's nice to mix things up. They are nice and brightly colored, something that really grabs my sons attention. I will be back for more!

Not very challenging, little to no math.

We have used a variety of different summer work books but Summer Fit is by far our favorite. My 9 year old, 7 year old and 5 year old go in the backyard with me each day to do the fitness activities. They are bright, engaging and not overwhelming which is exactly the right thing for the summer. The lessons are challenging. Great job!

This is the second year I've bought these for my kids to use during summer break. I love how it's geared for transitioning between grades. I'm always afraid my kids will backslide during the summer and this is a foolproof plan to keep that from happening. We take a few minutes to do 3 pages each day.

It's OK, it spends a lot of time on non-academic stuff.

I was really looking forward to using these as my kids summer workbooks but I found them too easy for my 6-year old (Kindergarten to First grade edition) and not helpful really for my 4.5-year old. I think we'll skip these for the upcoming summer.

These worked great this summer with our 4 kids (8yr-3yr) There was 0 prep except tearing the page out. We just did the basic daily sheet, but I was pleased with that. Will plan on doing these again next year.
