You can stop looking! This is the one!
Let me start by saying, I rarely write reviews. Seriously, I read A LOT of reviews, but I never write them. Ironic I know. But I felt I should for this.I have been looking for a good wireless charger for over 2 years. I started out with the flat circular style and quickly upgraded to a stand type charger a few months later. The main problem I had was finding a charger that worked with an OtterBox. I refuse to own a smartphone that does not have a durable case. Every stand charger I tried would not charge through the case, I either had to remove the rubberized sleeve or the entire case to get it to charge. After about four different stand chargers from various brands and different degrees of quality, I had pretty much given up.Then last Christmas my wife gifted me the Samsung Qi fast charging wireless stand charger (2019 edition). I accepted it graciously but was in pretty serious doubt about it working, so I was delightfully surprised when I put my phone on it and it actually started charging! Finally I felt like I was catching up with modern technology! Not long after this I even upgraded my phone from the Galaxy s8+ to the Galaxy note 10+. Another phone, a new OtterBox, and it was still charging. My only real complaint about that charger was that you have to get it just right on the pad before it would charge. Sometimes this took a minute and several repositions. But it was a gift, it was working, and I was content. And then one morning my two-year-old daughter decided that the black round stand needed to be decorated.... In yogurt.Needless to say in 30 seconds there was sizzling, smoke, her laughter, and my tears. I was back to the dark ages of simply plugging my phone into a charge cord.Fast forward a few months to my birthday. My wife gifted me, a second time, this charger. Boy howdy, let me tell ya. I don't even have to look when I put my phone on the charger. It just starts charging no matter what position. As long as it's close, it starts. The other Samsung charger had this annoying little curved lip at the bottom that was designed to perfectly fit a Samsung phone with no case. This meant I had to lean my phone forword and rock it back to get the exact positioning. Not so on this charger, it's a nice flat little rubberized coated shelf. I included the pictures in portrait and landscape manly to show that it is fast charging. But I also included a picture that shows the phone leaning to one side and it's still charging. You could never do that on the other charger. The phone doesn't get warm when charging, but after it's fully charged it does not stay warm. I did a few charging tests and found that the battery temperature never got above 40 C (104 F). Which is good. Standard operating temperatures for most smartphones range from about 30-40 C (86-104 F). Those temperatures rise obviously, when you charge your phone and put cases on them. Mine usually runs about 32 C (89.6 F) with the OtterBox case and not charging. Temperatures of 50 C (122 F) or more can cause damage to your phone. So even while charging, my phone was still in the normal safe range. It is worth noting that wirelessly fast charging any phone is not as fast as using a corded fast charger. Androids fast charge wirelessly at 15 watts, which this charger does. I believe Apple only allows 10 Watts. It takes me about 2 hours 10 minutes to fully charge from about 10% with this charger. This is the fastest charge time I have ever received by any of the other "fast wireless chargers" I've had in the last few years. Besides the other Samsung fast wireless charger I mentioned, which was pretty comparable in charge time to this one.I hope this helps somebody if you are trying to decide to purchase this product. I enjoyed it greatly and it meets all of my criteria. It is a little more expensive than some others, but I assure you it is and overall better product and totally worth it!

Charges through the thickest cases and works well. Too bad it is outrageously expensive.
I'm attaching a photo to clear up any confusion about what charger I'm talking about. Amazon currently lists this one a "Duo" but it certainly is not that. That aside, this is an excellent charger but very expensive. It comes with an adapter and double-ended USB-C cable. The charger looks nice with a black satin matte finish. My S20 Ultra has no trouble connecting for a fast charge through a 4.5mm case. I added another mm of paper behind my phone for a test and it still charges. On my phone, I can turn off fast charging. This shuts off the fan and dims the indicator light. This mode keeps the phone cooler during the charging and if you are in no hurry, this is the way to go in my opinion. If you enable fast charging, the indicator light is a bit brighter and the fan turns on. I absolutely cannot hear this fan, even when I press the charger against my ear. However, I can feel the breeze around the ports. In fast charging, the phone and the charger base get quite a bit warmer but I feel confident that everything is engineered to protect both. The charger lights red while charging and turns green when charged. If fast charging, the fan also turns off at that time. People like to talk about charging speed. My opinion is that hardly matters as this wireless charging is a great convenience and the tradeoff is that it can never be as fast as wired charging. If you want a charger and don't want to run through a dozen failed purchases where you end up with a charger with strobe bright lights, a hellaciously loud fan, or too weak to charge through the case you are using, then just save yourself the grief and get this one. Anker makes a nice Power Wave II charger for 20 percent less than this but its only drawback for me is that I don't like the huge power brick it ships with.

Was what it said it was, OEM
I bought this a few months back as an alt to charge my galaxy note 10 plus. As always, however, I'm very very skeptical about buying "official" Samsung accessories from Amazon, but, was pleasantly surprised in this case. It was exactly as it was advertised. It came in original sealed Samsung packaging, had the advertised fast charge charging brick and engaged the wireless fast charge capability on the phone. I checked the charger which also engaged the super fast charging on the phone when I tried it, so, it's either an extremely convincing counterfeit where the counterfeit went the extra mile to counterfeit Samsung packaging and all the components (in that case I'd actually buy from that counterfeiter because of how faithful to the source OEM product it is), or it's the real deal... I'm pretty certain it's the real OEM deal given everything. Does it work? Yup. One issue is that.. Well, it's advertised as having a fan, I have no way of verifying if it in fact does have a fan as, occasionally, the phone does heat up while on the wireless charger which stops the charging and leads to the "wireless charging is paused because of heat" toast notification on the phone. Not that big of a deal, but, it is something worth mentioning. It's fan probably is kicking in, I just don't hear it because I wear headphones most of the day.I'm pleased with the purchase because, unlike other models, this one is designed to be vertical, which other samsung solutions are more... I have an issue with the design choices of circular/lay flat on a surface, pads because usually, if I'm letting the phone charge, I still want to use it and can't when it's laying flat. This engages super charge whether the phone is in portrait or landscape. I haven't tried the landscape config yet because I've got other devices that do that job, will update when I do try using the phone on the wireless charger in that config if there's an issue. Happy with the purchase. Took a while to get to me, but, I think that's because it shipped from samsung directly. Need a wireless charger and super fast charger charging brick that's OEM and not aftermarket claiming to be OEM? This listing is for you.
