SG Metal Super Slim Power Bank 1400mAh - Black

This is a pretty nifty little external battery. It really is the size of a credit card (except it's about 1/8 inch longer), and the thickness is like 4 cards stacked. The size is awesome for carrying in a pocket or a small purse, but the small size also means that it doesn't hold the same amount of power as larger batteries. This one will give my iPhone 5 a boost of 50% and that's it. Certainly enough to get me through a normal day (shopping, work, etc) but not enough for a day of extremely heavy use (traveling, hospital waiting rooms, etc).My original excitement about the battery greatly diminished when I received it and there was no way to connect it to my iPhone 5. The battery comes with a multi-purpose cable for charging and connecting phones, but the cable is male micro-usb on one end, and male micro-usb/male standard usb on the other end. No lightning connection at all. This is a serious drawback for iPhone users, making the battery basically useless unless you have a micro-usb to lightning adapter laying around. If not, you'll have to buy one, which means spending more $$ on top of the base price for the battery which is already fairly high considering the amount of power it holds.I'm torn on a star rating, because the non-iphone compatible cable greatly annoys me...but the battery itself IS a nice little size and the build quality seems good. It fits wonderfully in my small purse and as another reviewer pointed out, the mirrored finish on the back is great for quickly checking your makeup. I do feel the battery is a bit overpriced, but obviously the cost is for the convenience of the physical size and not for the amount of power it holds. (Still, a 50% boost is enough for me in almost all situations.) I think 4 stars is a fair rating, considering the pros and cons. The small size has definite appeal, but it's just a matter of if you're willing to pay a premium price for the convenience of the size...and for iPhone users, you'll absolutely have to use a lightning adapter. UPDATED - The kind folks from Stunning Gadgets provided me with this Super Slim Power Bank, 1200 mAh, in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...Although this power bank only provides my phone (HTC One M8) with half of a full charge, it's my favorite, of more than a few I've owned!Obviously the fact that it's close to the size of a few credit cards is nice but what I love most (confession, lol) is that the back has a mirrored finish! I'm uploading some photos so you can get an idea of just how tiny this is and a better look up close. Kudos to Stunning Gadgets for a great product!!Works great and I'll be sure to update this review should anything change. Currently I carry this in my purse daily and use it to juice my phone up when I'm away from a wall or car charger. Having a 2600 mAh bank to get a full charge is not important for me, for everyday use...I prefer this one because of its size, light weight, and the fact that it eliminates the need for a pocket-size mirror in my purse (or using my camera in front mode just to touch-up, using more battery juice).Great item; buy with confidence. It still works but only charges for about ten to fifteen minutes (fully charged) before it dies again. I no longer use it nor would recommend it. Hopefully just mine was a lemon. Like advertised, this power bank is small (about credit card size) and it's thin, Thus, it's easy to keep this in pocket or wallet.** It's thin, but not thin as credit cards. Still it is remarkably thin and small.and charge very fast.I received this item in exchange for an unbiased review.

Great little device for back up for your android device. Strong enough to charge a cell phone but its best attribute is that it isstunningly thin, almost like a credit card, and fits in your wallet or purse and enables you to charge on the fly, even while in your purse, which is perfect to keep in communication.

This is a pretty nifty power bank. It charged completely in just a few hours and stayed very cool in the process. Of course, this will not deliver power as long as larger versions, but this really is super slim, small and lightweight. Ounce for ounce, this is great! There is one unusual feature of this that I have never seen in a power bank: it only has one single USB micro B port. Most have a micro B port for charging and the usual USB A port that you plug your device into to receive power. For example, most smartphones/cellphones have a micro B port and you use a cord that is USB A to micro B, plugging the micro B into the phone and the USB A into the power source. With this device, you must use a different type of cable and one is supplied. I have never seen this type of cable before(there really is a zoo of cable types in existence!). This cable is called "Dual A to MICRO B USB Y cable". If you ever need to replace the cable, Amazon sells them. So, you use the USB A to MICRO B part to charge the power bank and then the "extra" MICRO B part is what you plug into your phone or whatever.
