Good Account of a Bad Guy
Interesting look at one of the 20th centuries most prolific mobsters, Sam Giancana. Documentary includes: the mobs' involvement with the CIA's plot to assassinate Castro, Giancana's relationship with the Kennedys, his affairs with Judith Campbell, Phyllis McGuire & Marilyn Monroe and absorbing interviews with Giancana's daughters. It's one of those films that gets overlooked, but should receive some notice because of its historical content.

Karma ....!!
There is an old saying " Live by the SWORD ... die by.. the Sword"..! To think that Old Sam became who was ...because a Black man who operated his own ..illegal gambling? Taught him the ropes ..and was stabbed in the back ?? That is why ...you never ever help ..another Criminal or adversary in the same industry ! He was ambitious ...but what he did to another person.. Certainly came back to "haunt" him in the end ...on his kitchen floor ! Cheers!

Really slow and disappointing
Giancana's kids reminisce about their wonderful father. At 45 min in, that was literally the only thing that had happened. I'd tuned into this documentary thinking it would be about Giancana and his rise in the Chicago mob and eventual move to Las Vegas. That is definitely not what this film is. There were several facts that appeared inaccurate. Finally, any documentary that wants to be taken seriously really shouldn't make this mistake. There is one "source" interviewed in this whose voice is altered and their face obscured to keep their identity safe, and they call themselves Mr. X. It's amazingly cheesy and reminded me of those "Secrets of Magic" revealed shows from when I was a kid. Honestly, I do not recommend this video.

Fascinating
I just watched this last night as it was included in Amazon Prime. I have been fascinated about the different accounts of the JFK assassination since my childhood, and the suggested connections between Giancana, Joe Kennedy, JFK, Bobby Kennedy, Jack Ruby, Oswald (if true) in this film are plausible. It moves rather slow for the first hour with interviews with Giancana's daughters, but the last hour ties up some loose ends in the tangled web of the mafia-JFK conspiracy theory.

Outstanding
Wow. What a tale. If you want to hear a story of a family man whose life intersects with Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, the McGwire Sisters, the CIA, the FBI, RFK, JFK, presidential assassinations, and Castro, this may be the only tale in history that will suit you.

Worth the watch
Informative and entertaining. The whole Kennedy thing, well, OK add it to the list. There are as many theories about the Kennedy assassination as there are stars in the sky. Considering all the theories around the Kennedy assassination, it's amazing he wasn't shot a hundred times. The mob, the CIA, the Russians, the Republicans, the FBI, the Federal Reserve, Castro! Jeez! This guy pissed off everybody. Did anyone like him? This documentary is well done and has a lot of information about the mans life, his family and his role in history.

What is the truth about Chicago's #2??? This doc. attempts, and seriously so, to run down every alley and corridor that marks this guys's life. Whether accurate or conjecture it is a fascinating glimpse into a life only heretofore covered in newsprint and Media of that era beginning in the 20's until his death. A career that connects him to some of the biggest names in show biz and politics. So many facets of this story are moot, that I sincerely doubt anyone will know exactly who killed him. Amazing sidelights and interviews with people and players who filled and dotted his life!

Disappointing
I stopped watching it when they said he kidnapped his best friend and stole his business. Not a person I want to know about.
