Direct replacement for BDS 6' Lift kit on 2010 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4
2010 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4. The top shape of the cartridge (not the mount) is different than what my BDS 6' lift kit came with; however, they fit perfectly. Additionally, these replacements (Fox Shox 985-24-194) as listed on the BDS catalog for this model/year lift kit, don't have the cool BDS branding sticker on the shocks....let me explain:When I first got the lift kit installed on the truck (about 100k miles ago back in Dec 2012) I remember I over torqued the rear shocks to eliminate rattles over bumps. In doing so, the REAR top shock mounts on the truck were crushed by about 2mm (I measured it). The bottom mounts were not affected (I guess the steel mounts were a lot stronger/thicker). When the old ones were removed and an attempt to slide in the new shocks (this purchase) the top wouldn't fit....they wouldn't slide in. I started the return process based on SOME COMMENTS HERE stating that they 'didn't fit'. I called BDS and explained the situation. BDS advised that the TOP REAR shock mounts were 'easily bendable' and that I probably closed/bent them by about 2mm when I over-torqued them back in Dec 2012.With this information I went home, got the crowbar, and 'opened' the truck's top rear shock mounts by approx 2mm and was able to install them. Needless to say, I cancelled the return.Wow, it feels good to have new rear shocks. I had gotten used to driving around with blown fox 2.0 shocks. Now I just need to revalve/rebuild the front coilovers.

2007 GMC Sierra crew 4x4 perfect fit.
Easy to install, did not even have to jack the truck up. Put top bolt in, cut the compression strap and it will try to expand, have a jack ready to catch the bottom and then jack the new shock up to meet the bottom bolt hole.

Does not fit a 6 inch lift
Ordered these for my Silverado with a 6inch lift, didn’t get to install as soon as they arrived due to work but they don’t fit a lifted truck and can’t send back, not very happy
