Haven't used this yet, but it looks to be a great addition for our grandson's visits.I just used this thermometer, and it is easy, accurate and painless!Great product.

I don't understand how this thermometer received 5-star ratings from 35 people!! maybe paid reviews?!?the digital ear thermometer by Enji did NOT provide accurate readings. it was off by 1-2 degrees and I tried it multiple times on both my left & right ears. I did the same on my 3 1/2 year old daughter and also got different readings. I was at the pediatrician's office when I brought this thermometer with me since I wanted to test it's accuracy. The nurse took her temperature so that was my baseline temp for my daughter. When I used this thermometer on her (just a few seconds after the nurse took the temp, while we were waiting for the doctor), I got different temps. I tried it on both her ears & multiple times, her temperature ranged from 98.9 - 100.1 (her actual temp per the nurse was 99.5)I read the instructions multiple times carefully. I even had my husband use the thermometer in case it was user error and he got the same wildly fluctuating readings. Returned it today. Save the hassle... buy an ear thermometer from a known brand.

I bought this thermometer to take temperatures of my wife and I who are both adults. At first we took our own temperatures and were getting wildly varying temperature readings, mostly higher than normal. Our daughter has a similar thermometer that is a different brand so I asked her about her results. She said they get consistent readings but they have only used the device on each other and on their young children and never on themselves. So my wife and I tried using it on each other and we got consistent readings that matched an "in the mouth" digital thermometer. I am very good about analyzing things but I cannot see what we do differently in measuring our own temps versus measuring each other's. But since measuring each other's works, we are keeping the device. I give it only 4 stars because it always starts up showing degrees C. It isn't difficult to change it to showing degrees F but it would be better if it remembered that setting rather than always defaulting to degrees C.

Product arrived on time and is a great value. It is compact and will be easy to take with us on trips. Have a sick child at home and is quick and easy to use. Would recommend to friends; purchased one for my mother as well. Company cares about customer satisfaction; placed a request slip inside packaging prompting customer to call if review would be any thing less than a five so they could have an opportunity to make things right. I would not hesitate to purchase from Enji Prime again.

It shipped fast and worked great. The size is smaller than I expected (The last one I had was much bigger) . Anyway, I especially like the fact that it can show the measurement in both Celcius and Fahrenheit. Thank you for the good service.

The readings aren't consistent when taken 5 times in a row (I gave up after 5 times), with a full degree Fahrenheit difference. I prefer my thermometer readings in Fahrenheit, but it always reverts back to Celsius when powered off and on. To take the temp, you have to hold and release the scan button which makes a loud popping sound in the ear, and it doesn't always provide a reading, without pressing the button a few times (and waiting). Lastly, I keep getting a 'L' reading on the screen. The instructions manual doesn't tell what that means. I will be going back to the old fashioned oral thermometers. Wish I could return this one but I bought it over 6 months ago, and haven't had a chance to use it until now.

Easy to use and temperature is reliable. I just don't like that ever time I turn it on I have to change the setting from celcius to farenheit. Wish it would stay set. Other than that it has worked easy and great on two sick kids.
