I wanted to try out the danish bread whisk. I am new to artisan bread, and having difficulty mixing the stickier dough. I wanted to give the unique shape a try, and this kit came with not only the whisk but a lame and blades - something else I didn't have, and the price was reasonable.Love the new shape, it works! Much easier to mix the flour into the sticky dough. The handle and loop of the whisk are heavier than I expected, a great thing. The finish is water resistant, so even if you forget and drop it in the dishwater while you shape your dough, you won't ruin it ( guilty). The little metal guard was not well glued and has come loose, but it will be easy enough to glue back (um, water?) This was a perfect way to dip my toe into artisan baking, so glad I did, I would buy this again, it will work for quite a while, and give me time to decide if I am serious about making this type of bread - not a lot to lose If I decide artisan bread is too much work, and should last quite a while if I decide I love making artisan bread. I recommend this as a good choice for budget minded novice bakers, looking to expand into artisan breads. This may also be a good shape for other things as well... fun tools!Follow up: to heck with whether or not you love making artisan breads, you NEED this gizmo! It is fabulous for folding together all kinds of awkward things you don't want pulverized - salads of all kinds, swirls for ice cream, fruit mixtures for pies, jams, all those things you want to gently mix together, plus anything with flour, vegetables, pasta... I find myself reaching for it daily, how did I ever prepare a meal before? You want one!😁

I had never heard or seen one of these before doing research on starting sourdough. I do make bread and found this to be a great value set and thought I would try it out. I am so happy I did. It comes in beautifully boxed so easily one could wrap it up for a gift. Since I have never seen this type of whisk before, I was surprised at how large it is. Very sturdy, easy to clean. I tried this whisk for the first time when making a loaf of whey dutch oven bread. I have made it several times before and this whisk definitely helped incorporate the ingredients quicker. I also tried the lame. I really think this will be a fun addition to bread making. I stored the bread in the bag and was not impressed with that. The bread did dry out faster than I could eat it. But overall, I am very happy with my purchase and happy with the quality of the individual products in one box.

Love it. The handle was sturdy, instruction was clear, the cutting pieces were sharp and it came with a bread bag. It was also neatly packaged in a box that can be used for storing. The cutting pieces razors has a cute embossed leather holder. The whisk I used for baking scones and it came together quickly and effortlessly. I then mixed a loaf of Irish soda bread and had fun decorating the top! Loved it!

The whisk really works well and seems to be a sturdy item. The lame....well, I am not impressed. I use a really sharp knife or scissors. I am not crazy about the way the razor blade is held with a curve, and I can't cut deep enough into sourdough to satisfy the baking process.

Everything is clean, safety warning on the bladed item.Sturdy. I will order a bigger basket also and maybe an oblong as doon as I have money to do it.Thank you it came 2 days earlier than told. God Bless. Finally a company that can be trusted again.!!!

This works really well for mixing bread dough. The kit is complete. Nice to have a bread bag and other accessories included in one price.

Not only is the product exactly what i was hoping for (sturdy, looks nice, works VERY well), my initial shipment was missing the blades for the lame. I emailed asking if the blades could be sent separately, and got an immediate response telling me to keep what I received and that an entire new set was coming my way.Within 3 days I had a new set at my doorstep and now have a back up of each!
