Champion Sports Heavy Duty Galvanized Steel Chain Basketball Net, 21 Inch

This chain basketball net is great! My nephews love the clink sound when they make a shot. Got it for a great price too. The set up time was maybe 45 mins and majority of that was bending the hooks which wasn't a long time to me. I used a set of needle nose pliers to get a good grip while closing the hooks. I left little gap in the hook in case I ever have to replace it. This was a trial and error duty. I'd close the hook then one or two would pop off. I was fine with that. Helped me get it just right. The new was a perfect fit and coloring is a shiny stainless steel. With the humid environment the stainless stell should hold well and not rust. If a net is ever needed again this I'd definitely do it again.

Upgrading to this galvanized steel basketball net was one of the best decisions for my outdoor basketball setup. It's incredibly robust, weather-resistant, and withstands extensive daily play. Unlike traditional nylon nets, it won't deteriorate quickly, making it ideal for outdoor hoops. Installation was simple, and the satisfying "swish" sound when scoring adds to the experience. This chain net worked out great for my lifetime brand basketball hoop. The hooks on my hoop seem to be a different style so I could not put the hooks from the chain on them. I was able to just remove the hooks with a pair of pliers and use zip ties to attach the chain directly to the rim. My kids love the satisfying sound of the ball going through the chain net. Definitely will recommend! If you purchase this net be sure to not undo the twist tie that is holding the chain together until you are ready because the hooks can get tangled easily.

Okay so the chain net is good quality the only downfall is after the first couple shots the thing was falling off the rim. I seen someone else zip tie but that wouldn't last forever especially in the fl sun. I got a nice pair of channel locks and just bent the S hooks closed and now it's perfect

Bought this a year ago and it's still hanging, in good shape.

Easy to install, our local park lacked a net and it rains a lot up here so I decided on this one and put it up. So far it’s held it’s own as kids have found their way back to the court to ball out. Hooping is always nicer when you have the chain on it. Just make sure you clamp it down good when you install so nothing pops off as the ball goes through. Have yet to have anything come off no complaints here.

Foe those that are wondering this will rust as zinc is not rust proof. Apparently this is stainless steel covered in zinc. What I did to mine with the hopes preserving it a little longer is that I sprayed it with rustoleum paint. But for the money this is a great value

Perfect replacement for the nylon net.

This net is one of the most versatile products I've ever bought. I'm pretty sure they metal has an anti-rust coating on it because I never take it off during the winters and the quality has stayed the same. The metal itself is also very nice quality, you can tell by its thickness. The sound it makes when you get a swish is super satisfying. The only problem this net has is the difficulty in setting it up. I'm really handy with tools and fixing things and I must say this was quite a challenge. I had to use pliers to bend the metal hooks (that's how amazing the quality is!) by which you have to hang the net. However, just make sure you don't use the pliers directly on the metal as this may remove the anti-rust coating. I used a cloth or duct tape on pliers and then bent them. They're really hard to bend tbh, you're going to need a decent amount of strength! I didn't want to bend them too far because I want to be able to remove the mesh if I ever want to, but because of this, the net keeps coming off the rim. I bent them a little more recently and it helps. So, when you set it up, if you bend them a little more after hooking up the mesh to the rim, it won't come off. So summary is: Pros: -Quality/Durability -Price -Aesthetic -Sound Cons: -Difficult to set up -Part of the net sometimes comes off Overall, a good mesh that I recommend to everyone!
