Go great I’ve purchased several as gifts
I purchased a set for myself a couple of years ago. I enjoyed them so much that I bought them as Christmas gifts for my daughter and daughter in law. I just purchased two more sets for two sister-in-laws as retirement gifts. I’ve found the batteries last a long time (I don’t have it on the timer). I love the ambiance, my daughter loves not worrying about the cats with a flame, they’ve been great in power outages, and they look fantastic!!

So Realistic
I was first introduced to these years ago in Ogunquit, Maine. I was so impressed and found out the technology was used at the Pirates of the Carrabien Ride at Disney. If they good enough for Disney they’re good enough for me. My only issue is with customer service. I purchased a pack of three and they came damaged. I never heard back from customer service, so I gave a three. A product that is good enough for Disney should have the same work ethic.

Most realistic battery operated candle I have found
The Luminara candle is the most realistic 'flame' I have found in a battery operated candle. From a short distance, it looks quite real. I can't say that I noticed the vanilla scent but that is not why I bought it. I love the remote and really love the timer. Turn on the timer and it stays on for 5 hours. It turns on every evening at the same time. Love it! This is a lovely accessory without the worry of flame. Service and delivery was excellent. The only reason I gave this candle 4 stars for value for the money is because it isn't cheap. Still you are getting a candle that will function well for years.
