It is very useful. It can protect your lens and easy to use. I use it with hard case to protect my camera, when I want to take a shot it is very easy just take it off and put and put it into my pocket. Love it!!

The pictures on the products are contradictory.Unless you read the entire description, specially the end (This is not a transparent one, can not be used when shooting) you wouldn't know that it's a black cover and useless if you have the original cover that comes with teh camera.

I have seen so many folks who have ended up with one or both lenses cracked or scratched that I was quite happy to find this item. It snaps on securely, and while it has to be removed to take any shots, it is easy to put in a pocket and then pull back out and protect your camera when you are done. Has helped me through some carries in real rough places where I didn't have time to pull the camera off my mount, but could at least snap this on. Just wish they made a variation of this where the cap could be replaced with a filter.

The cover works well and helps protect the lenses. I can keep the camera in my pocket without worry that the lenses will get dammaged.

It works fine and is easy to use. Like a dummy though, I assumed that you could take a picture while it was. But it is solid black and I don't see this as any better then the rubber dingus the camera arrived with. Hey guys, why not clear plastic optical covers. They'd be more expensive but cheaper to replace then a lens at a $100 a piece.

Clasp is too loose. Kept getting un-latched with the slightest touch. It could easily scratch the lenses of the camera as it coming off so often.

Unlikely to scratch the lens, but comes off too easily. Can't recommend it.
