Unique product, easy to use, sets instantly under the supplied UV, tough join.
I bought this product because I liked the idea of a glue that wasn’t sticky, that doesn’t harden or produce sticky threads (like a hot glue gun does), gives you plenty of time to set the joint, then you flash it with the supplied UV light and it sets instantly – no drying time or curing time is required.I gave it 5 stars on everything except “value for money” because I consider it very expensive but unique. I bought the kit (£16.00) plus one spare tube of adhesive (£7.95).Today I needed to repair the broken front of a freezer drawer. I can’t find a replacement online to buy, but similar items cost around £30. So, if I could repair it with this adhesive, even if that meant using a whole tube of the adhesive, then it would be worthwhile. The drawer front is “smoked” clear plastic and since the UV light would shine through it then I figured it would be a good candidate for repair. After checking the break was clean, I layered the adhesive carefully along the edge of the break, doing this on both pieces. I could take my time because it doesn’t harden or begin to set. Then I put the two pieces together and flashed them with the UV light. I was going to do the repair outdoors, but it was brilliant sunshine outside and I figured that perhaps the UV from the sun would interfere with the adhesive, so did the job indoors. There were no noticeable fumes from the adhesive either.I then decided to splint the joint – layering a zig-zag pattern across the line of the break on the outer surface and flashing that to solid, then repeating on the inside surface. The repair was instantly “good to go” and I refitted it to the drawer and tested that it would take the strain – which it did.Photos of the process attached. It did not take all of what was left in the primary tube that came with the kit. So I still have my spare tube intact and unopened.I was pleased with the result and would recommend this product. I don’t use it for everyday repairs, where something like Bostik would do the trick. I save it for repairs where this product would be ideal.

Good glue / bad gift
To start, as a glue, it's very good. However, I bought these "starter sets" to give as gifts (I bought two). The box is good quality but there is a blank space left in the box (evidently for a refill) that is not clear on the online photo. Therefore, as a gift it looks like you've been too mean to buy a refill! The worst thing, however, is that the (I presume) comprehensive instruction all in German only. As these were gifts for elderly people who are not great Internet users (and so cannot look online for details) they are completely useless as gifts!Very disappointed.

Ease of use, and quick drying
I have only used on a couple of things. Yes it is a good product. In some cases it's no good. For what I wanted it for it was brilliant.

Did what it said on the tin
Had a very difficult problem to fix. One of those ‘70s style globe-on-a-pole lights. The globe suddenly detached (had been fine for years) and was left hanging by the bulb-socket wires. How to stick a metal edge to metal surface? This stuff did it.Spread the liquid. Held together and my wife ran the uv light round. Instantly sets like rock when illuminated. Added more to ‘filet’ the joint, set it.Looks rather solid.

Really get stuck with this product!
Not a glue as such but a very useful and powerful product to fix those things you thought were broken and effectively gone forever. I recommend particularly for modellers.
