After phosphates were removed from detergents nothing cleaned dishes in my dishwasher. Not even the so-called commercial Cascade that supposedly still contains phosphates. In addition, we have very hard well water. So I tried adding white vinegar to the rinse cycle but who can remember or bother to add it with every wash? Besides, my dish washer always smelled horrible because something else must have been removed from all dishwasher detergents that used to get rid of the offensive odors. But no longer. So I started adding Glass Magic to each load of dishes in addition to the commercial grade Cascade. Together they did a pretty good job of cleaning the dishes, but the odors still remained after the cleaning cycle. And my children always complained that the glasses smelled horrible even after they went through the dishwasher! And I hated having to pay for two products! And the Glass Magic always gets caked and hardened! What a pain. Finally, finally, I found the answer to this annoying and disgusting problem! After two years of experimenting! By chance I saw Kleenite Kleen Machine at Giant and I tried it. A miracle breakthrough! With the very first use not only were the dishes and glasses and flatware clean, ALL ODORS were GONE!!!!! You must try it to believe it. The only downside is the price. But at least you don't need to buy two different products. And it works!! I do not understand why no one ever heard of this miracle product. Or why it is not advertised as the best dishwasher detergent ever rather than just a glass cleaner. I only found it by chance and hope that others will try it and have the same miraculous results! By the way, we have a top of the line Bosch dishwasher and we almost threw it out because I thought it was the dishwasher that caused the problems resulting in dirty dishes, ugly dull flatware, and offensive odors. So glad I didn't make that mistake.
